มุมมอง 11K6 ปีที่แล้ว
today we take my 2nd gen 4runner out onto some dirt and I show you guys my rig!
Cool, love it bud, have a 96 same color, I'm doing a 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive conversion on it first then the lift will come after.
Is the rez still there and vid of how it sounds inside cabin????
What size or those tires ?
Watch the video 😂
nice job, I have a project 1988 4x4 bricknose, I am recently starting with repairs... bless
What bed rails are those?
Hi Chris they were custom made from previous owner.
I have a 95 f150 2wheel ,I ordered same rims and found wouldn't fit in front due to caliper looks like. I may need 1/2in spacers. Did you need spacers??
That was awesome 👌 the offset and backspacing was what I needed to know Not many state this info.
It's like it wants a extra ½" diameter but it does sound decent.
I have a 2016 Colorado and appreciate the modern tech but I’m kinda wanting to just trade it in for something fast and fun. Then build me a cheap 90s f150. They are functional and looks so good with a simple lift and tires
Nice job
Where can I get myself that headache rack!!???
would love to see some more 4runner vids
No engine view or start up ?
Did you just use the clamps or did you weld them as well
hey did you need to re gear with 4inch lift and 33s? ive heard that you need to with 6 inch and 35s but not sure.
Truck looks great! I read in the comments that you upgraded to the procomp lifted rear springs. I’m trying to put together a kit for my 1996 right now. What rear springs did you end up using? Was it the 4” procomp springs item#23211? Did you use the factory block with the new springs?
Let's see more videos on the truck!
Did you have stock 2 inch blocks in the rear & if so did you reinstall them with the new blocks on that 4 inch lift ...or was your kit ...add a leaf spring ?
It did have the 2” blocks stock. I removed them and installed the 4” blocks (you don’t want to stack them). I did a couple trips in that setup before snapping a leaf and upgrading to pro comp lift leafs with no block spacers!
@@aardeadventures thx for the input 👍
Beautiful truck. I have a 96 short bed reg cab. The best looking trucks in town!!
Another Canadian channel+4runner.... i subbed 😏🇨🇦
"Squints" hasn’t really age a bit since the sandlot 😂😂
Do you have links to which pipes you used and where you got them?
Lol yo I have a 95 300 6 5 Spd Manual in the exact same color lol. I put a front 2 in leveling kit on my 95. I have 31 in tires. if I dont sell it imma upgrade the tires to 32's, and do a 4 inch lift, but mines 2wd :(. DOES ANYONE happen to know if theres a way to convert to 4wd?
I just converted mine to 4wd need to swap the tranny and transfer case from a 4wd truck but my trucks a 90 f150 exactly like yours but auto and I got the whole front end from a 90’s bronco and everything bolted up like stock and it looks so cool
Took me about 2 days to do in my garage
Where’d you get your headache rack
Where’d you get that back window guard ?
I have a 93 flareside with leveling kid, just bought the pro comp steeles as well, with 33x12.50 also.
I'm not into lifted trucks but that looks clean
hey by any by any chance does your 4runner lack power on high altitudeds in the highway or just a big hill going at higher speeds? thinking my 4runner might have a problem but everyone says their not good on the highway. what's your input?
Planning on doing a muffler delete w a single tip also
What pipe size did u use? And what size is the stock exhaust?
I have a 1993 F150 flareside, single cab, short bed that I just got from my dad. I'm looking to make it like yours
Love those 2nd gens. They are the cheapest to buy. of the Toyota SUVs
Do you still have your ford pick up truck?
How is it at low RPMs? Like slow cruising through neighborhoods or starting up in the morning?
Great vid. Good option to RE attach. Do you recommend this?
I would recommend it to anyone that wants a bit deeper and loader tone to their car, its a little bit louder inside the cabin but not too bad at all. Also if you dont like it its super easy to go back to stock!
How did it go running 31s any rubbing-how much of a gas change have you noticed?
I got a 89 bronco and planning on doing the same exact thing except keeping the stock wheels. Thanks for the video.
Stunning
Looks good buddy I have a 94 single cab long bed with 302 4" lift going 6" now just a little bit more for more tire
Thanks man that's awsome iv been struggling deciding if I want to go 6" and 35s too im just worried about how the stock gearing would hold up to it
Looks good man.. I have a 6" lift and axles w/ 4:56 gears and lockers.. That I have yet to put on. The existing rear end is shagged.. waiting to put it on together. Not looking forward to having to stand on a ladder to work on my truck. But it'll look cool!
That's going to look real good man! Going to run 35s??
@@aardeadventures - Yes, because life is too short to use them little 28" tires..
Awesome. I put a 4:56 with Auburn lockers in my 1995 F150, running on 33” KO2’s. Plenty of power now, but only getting around 12 mpg with 302 V8.
Looks way better👍🏼, I was thinking of either getting a 2.5in lift or 4in lift for mine. I have a leveling kit on mine with 32x11.50 kos
Looks good ... I have a 1995 f150 ext cab long bed trying to decide if I want to lift or level , what made you choose pro comp over rough country or skyjacker ?
I went with pro comp cause the reviews were a little better than rough country also where I bought it from had a good sale on the pro comp at the time. I would 100% recommend lifting it instead of a level just cause I think it makes the trucks look a lot better and I can clear my 33s with no rubbing issues at all
Dude that’s one badass rig!
Very Kool vid very kool Truck & scenery. My 97 4Runner just hit 352,000 miles these are Amazing vehicles & built to last.Oh yea your tube bumpers are off the hook!
man where is this? Looks like where I live up in the puget sound, fill me in!
its up around Harrison lake near Vancouver BC!
The editing and filming was really good
I have a 1990 2nd gen 5-speed and I was wondering how expensive it is to have a snorkel installed?
your bumpers are sweet I have the same ones
you have ABS. I wish my 2nd gen did
