I'm not getting the same values as you for the uncertainty sub-blocks for the upper or lower star product. They're similar but not the same. I've taken a look at the Zhou document you mentioned in another comment and Zhou has a different result for the mass block (Page 171). For the mass (as a lower star product) I'm getting: [ 1/m_0 , 1 ] [ -eta/m_0 , -eta ] And for the damping constant (as a lower star product) I have: [ c_0 , 1 ] [ c_o * eta , 0 ] and for the damping constant as an upper star product (as you have in the video) I have: [ 1 , 0 ] [ c_o * eta , c_0 ] I'm not sure about the discrepancy here, do you have some more insight on how the video has them derived? The Zhou source does not elaborate. Thank you.

For control systems, Linear algebra and calculus is certainly necessary, but after that I would say Convex Optimization But if you wanna go beyond that, I cannot point to a specific subject other than some nonlinear control books.
