Great to see u guys back!

With 4 weeks to go till everyone has played everyone, I think the best way to assess where we are at is to see how hard our next 4 fixtures are compared to the 7 teams right around us: If you weight difficulty of fixtures simply by how many points the opponents have so far then we have the 4th easiest final run of those 8 teams. We are up against teams that (so far) have 82 points. Newcastle have the easiest run (up against 67 points) and will be above us by NYE. But only Bournemouth (73) and Brighton (79) also have “easier” runs than us. Tottenham (94), Fulham (95), Villa (96) and especially Brentford (109) have more “difficult” runs. Partly because 2 of them have to play the high-flying force of Nottingham Forest. I’m sure there are better ways to weight the difficulty of fixtures. If anyone knows please LMK :) COYR!!

The moment of the game for me was the nod (by Wood) off the wall. If you watch it in slow-mo it looks like Wood initially ducks his head, flinches away, but it turns out he was just cocking his head for the nod. Gamesaver.

First time EVER (not just in the Prem era, but EVER) that we have won at Anfied & Old Trafford in the same season. I'll take it :)

Where Anderson is concerned, the Newcastle fans are gutted that they lost him. I was shocked that we pulled their shorts down so much with Vlachodimos is concerned as he was a real liability for us and always flapped at crosses and his kicking still wasn't great either. I was always worried when he played for us. I knew he was a nightmare with crosses before we bought him as seen him before he joined us!

By the time Anderson arrived, NFFC was already PSR compliant, with around £60m in combined sales for Mangala and Niakhate. We helped Newcastle with their PSR issues by acquiring Anderson for an initial £15m, Vlachodimos going the other way for the same figure, not the higher as reported (a mix-up between Euros and Pounds) eventually the club will pay more due to the add-ons. Still excellent business

The club have been clear since the end of last season, that the whole club has RESET and has entered a NEW CHAPTER is the clear message and tone.
