Polish Emergency Contacts You Must Know!!!
That's a lots of nonsense ,you no need to know anything when you come to Poland. Are you leaving in modle ages?
Maybe try "Polish with Dorota" channel
Don't you remember what we went through in your country Zim in 1980 during the Mugabe regime ?
Stay away from Poland. Work for development of your own country. Youve gor plenty to catch up with.
The fact you considered it and took time & effort to provide very useful information that may help somebody in an emergency is a good clue of who you are. When calling for help from fixed phones in Poland these are useful numbers for EMERGENCIES: 999: Ambulance 998: Fire Brigade 997: Police 981: Road Assistance 986: Municipal Police However, when using mobile phones: remember to dial the local code before the number, for example: 22 - 997 to call the police in Warsaw. Emergency calls from phone boxes are free of charge. If you do not know the local code, dial the general emergency number for mobile phones: 112. The operator will request the appropriate emergency unit. It's recommended using direct emergency numbers in the case of danger (997, 999, 998) because in some areas the general emergency number (112) may still not work properly.
a contract is a contract - sometimes it is unfair (i.e. the conditions contained in it guarantee the organizer your membership for a longer period of time at a specific price, because at this price for a shorter period it would be unprofitable for the organizer - I'm a Polish idiot - I don't buy gym memberships :D - but like most people, I have the Internet - I can request an "indefinite period" - it's expensive, and a 2-year subscription costs half the price for a similar transfer - so I prefer the cheaper one - if I If I move to another place, I may lose out) - I don't know if it's only in Poland, but read it (I understand that as a foreigner, and I assume that the contract was in Polish - this may be a problem to you - but do they create laws in Zimbabwe to make it easy for Poles?!) - it has nothing to do with racism - Poles are also bound by the contractare Poles racist? - they are, some more, some less - Poles don't like Germans, Russians (whites :D and russian is even slavs like poles), more than Japanese or Koreans (yellow) - they love them, me too - well, maybe not as much as Hungarians (whites, but not Slavs, like Poles) , but even racists tend to like them - other Asians such as Chinese, Thais, Filipinos - in general, yellow races are tolerated - they are rather hard-working, do not cause problems; -other races and here is the problem - you are black (this is racism) - you may be from a gang; you are an Arab (white, but more tanned than the Pole) - you may be an Islamist terrorist - just because you are not, your closest surroundings will love you, but for a Pole - a random Arab is a terrorist; aha, I forgot about Indians (white, but more tanned) - they are also rather disliked in Poland - all this concerns unknown people, how they are initially assessed by "average" Poles - of course, if in your environment you have proven that you are a holy person - not for them it doesn't matter what you proved to them - but among unknown people - Poles, that's how you will be perceived - so you are a black man in Poland - you may encounter racism, you probably shouldn't face it care, if you prove that you don't fit into this culture, you should -Poles are racists?! - because they stare at someone with a different skin color? - don't you stare in Zimbabwe? - in Poland, a black person is an absolute sensation - but in Zimbabwe it is not -Don't you think that what are they doing here - if they are not like you?
Nie tłumacz im. Oni są wieczną ofiarą. Jeszcze nam wmawiają że to przez nas u nich jest słabo. Druga rzecz to że tam faceci leżą pod drzewem zamiast pracować. Kobiety robią wszystko.
Fun fact: there were more Zimbabwean students in Poland than in Canada, the US, or Australia, despite these destinations’ more intense recruiting in Zimbabwe over the past couple of years. Is there any social media group for Zimbabwean students in Poland? If not, it should be created ASAP.
Very interesting and a bit troubling development. I am not an educator or lawyer, so my feedback is general and not formal advice. Resolving this issue is in the best interest of Polish authorities to ensure the top quality of Polish education. It is worth mentioning that authorities in every well-managed country try to protect students from the possibility that some private educational institutions may offer less than the desired quality of education. To ensure this, proper centralized educational accreditation is necessary. In Poland, outside quality assurance is the duty of the State Accreditation Commission (Panstwowa Komisja Akredytacyjna - PKA), an autonomous national agency recognized in January 2002. Its main responsibilities include evaluating the quality of education in areas of study, ensuring compliance with the requirements for degree programs, reviewing applications for the formation of higher education institutes, and reviewing submissions from higher education institutes for authorization to offer degree programs in specific fields and at particular levels of education. The PKA has developed close relations with both national and global organizations involved in the assessment of the quality of education and accreditation. The Polish quality assurance system abides by the ENQA Standards and Guidelines. If there is any non-compliance by universities and colleges in this process, there is a possibility that their education level is lacking. However, let's be clear: the discovery that some educational institutions lack administrative compliance is not proof that they lack educational quality. In extreme cases, if a university fails to comply with the provisions of the contract concluded with the student, particularly if it has not refunded the fee, claims regarding student fees may only be pursued through civil law, which, if it ever happens, understandably, could be a major headache for students. Consequently, there is a rightful consumer protection push to prevent private universities from collecting full tuition upfront. As for foreign students in Poland or those considering studying in Poland, they should not worry too much in advance because the education remains well-controlled, and no functional government will tolerate any gross mismanagement that puts prospective students and the entire educational system's rating at risk: any potential loss of confidence would be extremely damaging to the entire country.
No get stay away from Poland dont come here we dont need you
I am little bit surprise you didn't not underline that fact that Poland has relatively favorable regulations for non-EU students compared to many other EU countries: non-EU students can work throughout the entire year without needing a separate work permit, as long as they have a valid student visa. This allows students to gain practical experience and support themselves financially while pursuing their education. In general, education is a time of sacrifice in life and no high expectations of "high life" are even possible.
You are doing very well. Since you are a highly logical person, you've got that language thing down, man. Just commit enough time and always try to use it daily!
Human beings, regardless of their place on Earth, are entitled to live peaceful lives that respect their surroundings and celebrate being alive. Accordingly, the best advice foreigners can receive when coming to Poland is, as you allude to here, also the simplest one: 'Just go on with your life, live it, and learn from it while respecting others, because that's the only good reason why we all exist.' And, yes, reading the "small print" and asking good questions is always unavoidable.

It's really like irony. While some people from Africa plan to come to Poland I'm planning to go to Tanzania. Poland is on the verge of war. Karibu Poland ndugu wangu kutoka Alkebulan ❤

"Proszę bardzo" also means "you are welcome". If someone asks you for something and then thanks you, you reply with "proszę bardzo".
To the question: "Co słychać" - Instead of "Wszystko dobrze" u can simple use "Jest dobrze" = "it's good" or more unformal version like "aaa, dobrze" = "aaah, (it's)good". As a foreginer I d not use just "dobrze" unless u speak ur mind after "dobrze". Of cource u can reply with "Jest okej"="it's okey", "W porządku"="it's alright". In the situation u are asked that by somekind of friend u could also straightforwardly reply your thoughts about ur day. Note: both "tamten" and "ten" is masculine, singular form (further object"tamten")"Tamten chleb"="That bread", also (closer object)""Ten chleb"= "This bread". "Tam" is another topic "Tam" = "there"
Wow! this is very informative and l learnt a lot. I really appreciate the time you took to write this comment. Thank you very much❤
Hello. The different between "proszę" and "poproszę" : "Poproszę" - please give me something "Proszę" - please do something But "proszę" is always ok, "poproszę" sometimes sound wrong. I stay with you, good luck with my language!
Thank you very much. This makes it much easier and the explanation is simple 😊
@@contrariwisetvpoproszę use as demanding/awaiting something/someone in a quite polite way…proszę like above: here you are, please etc(depends on what sentence you wanna use for). You learning hardest language well. I get lots to hear from my folk when am in PL(I’ve been living in Germany for any years. That’s why my Polish is original regarding my pronunciation/accent and building sentences as well). Regards

smart way to type. NGL i didnt know at first why u put " ' " here. but read the word anyway. So Poles will udnersant u in writing whether u use these " ą ć ę" or not "a c e", but if u gonna type like that "Czes'c', co stychac'" for urself so u know and feel like u r doing it cause u cant easly put original letterer. I d say - good job

Good advice bro. Greetings from Poland.

When you get the confirmation letterand how to apply for it?
thanks for this video its really helpful. im from congo and we speak french which means all my documents are in french language. so my question is am i going to attach and send the original certificate (in french) and the translate one ( in English) at the same time ?
That is very good question! Most student who have their documents in English are required to translate them into the Polish Language. So for you to be on the safe side, l would recommend you translate them into both English and Polish, but only translating them into Polish language without should be sufficient.
@@contrariwisetv thank you brother. Happy to be subscribed here
@@contrariwisetv it’s possible to require your services about the nostrification ?
You didn't mention the 3 most important things. The first is personal culture and respecting the customs that are in Poland. If someone comes to Poland, they must behave in a cultured way towards all people, even those they don't know, whom they pass on the street, in a shop or on a bus. Polish people hate uncultured people and if an uncultured person is also aggressive, then Polish people calm down such a person on their own initiative using physical force. I myself have intervened several times and my relatives and friends have also intervened when necessary. In Poland, there is no consent for aggression and rudeness! The second issue is breaking the law - if someone comes to Poland, they must obey the law, because otherwise they will face the police, court and prison. In Poland, there is no consent for committing crimes! And I mean serious crimes and minor hooliganism, e.g. if you park your car incorrectly, cross the street on a red light, drink alcohol while walking down the street or take a bus or tram without a ticket, the police can intervene and you will get a fine. And the third issue is prohibited substances - if a foreigner wants to be a dealer or consumer in Poland, he will quickly end up in prison and there the prisoners will do nasty things to him, because Polish criminals do not like foreigners - that is why I'm warning everyone who likes such fun, in Poland such fun ends tragically. However, all foreigners who are cultured, respect the law and want to study or work legally are WELCOME to Poland!
