What's the difference betweren Sandra commenting on culture and celebrities commenting on culture? This is an example of the interviewer losing control of the interview. I don't know who the female interviewer is but she hardly spoke. I am a big fan of Sandra, but this is an example of just celebrity sycophancy.

Great conversation! I look forward to more of these. As a playwright who was approached to be on a panel about Horror Dramaturgy, I was surprised to see my work through that lens. I found it delightfully fitting to discover that many of my plays have elements of horror in them. I do think horror is part of the queer lens. Thank you for this deep and thought-provoking conversation.

I just saw the video of you dancing The Music and the Mirror at the AIDS event. Well done. It's a pity the camera wasn't on you 100% of the time. I saw the original cast of ACL in 1975 with Donna McKechnie, so I know whereof you speak when it comes to Broadway magic. I saw Ann Reinking later on.

This was an absolutely amazing interview with the incomparable Ms. Phylicia Rashad. First of all thank you Joy for pronouncing her name correctly. I love that y'all did your research on her and her past interviews and did not ask the same questions she has answered 15 hundred million times. Thank y'all for letting her talk: for not talking over her as she was giving a response to your questions. Ms. Rashad is such a vision of elegant eloquence.
