Exploring an Abandoned Elementary School with lots Left Behind
#abandoned #urbex #abandonedschool
Today we're exploring an abandoned Elementary school with a lot of stuff left behind. In later years, this school was used as an academy. Towards the end of this video, you'll be to hear someone moving around and even saying something (words are not clear). You'll be able to hear speaking at 15:14 Most likely it was a scrapper or homeless person, but didn't want to find out for sure.

I do not condone scrapping, vandalism, and arson. I just take photos/video and leave. I also do not condone breaking and entering into abandoned places. I entered in through an existing entryway.

      Eastland Holding LLC. They're shady owners similar to Black Spruce with Northridge mall. The city of Columbus is trying to seize the mall from the owners though to demo it.

    Most of these Churches were built by immigrants that toiled and provided money that they sorely needed for their own families. Each of those stained glass windows were probably donated by a family in honor of someone. This is a SHAME. SHAME ON THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, SHAME ON IN THE CITIES THAT THESE STRUCTURES ARE LOCATED IN, and SHAME ON SOCIETY FOR WHAT WE’VE BECOME TO ALLOW THIS! May God pity this heathen country.☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

    Oh man! Bringing back some memories. My family used to shop almost exclusively at Lazarus. For everything. Clothes, furniture, decor. I remember the big giant cloth Talking Tree there at Eastland Lazarus, me and my brother used to love sticking our arms in his mouth while he talked lol. I also remember that upper floor. It used to be where they had their furniture and decor. And when I was about 3-5 yrs old they had this giant lion statue sitting on one of the corners, after you went up the escalator and walked down the main aisle some. I was PETRIFIED of that thing. Used to make my grandpa hold me if we had to pass it. Otherwise he would take me around the long way to avoid it. lol. My aunt also used to waitress in the restaurant. It was really cool, the dining room used to overlook the mall down below. From what I remember, it went over it like a bridge. It was always very crowded. They used to hand out the best coloring books and crayons to the kids at the restaurant. I loved going there. Many many years of childhood memories here.

    One of the riskiest abandoned mall videos ever posted. The amount of safety and health hazards in a flooded area like this really makes this a bad precedent to set in the community. For anyone that disagrees, you most likely have never been an emergency responder, water rescue team member or experienced the structural and health hazards found in flood or standing water environments, so don’t bother telling me I’m wrong. Just like when people in this dead mall community keep saying “active operating malls are public spaces” as they get booted out by the cops and trespassed. I definitely like seeing the video, but people chasing clicks like this is going to lead to some bad things.

    • @slackingpacking
      @slackingpacking หลายเดือนก่อน

      In the video he mentioned to do not go down into the flooded area as it’s very dangerous. I believe the city of Columbus has or is trying to take ownership of the mall so they can demolish it. I have no desire coming back to this mall. I’ve seen a recent video where the mall interior has since been cleaned up and looks like demolition is coming very shortly. We understand us explorers ( at least for me and left behind) are taking a risk when we explore these abandoned buildings. We are not clout chasers by any means. We explore just to admire and photograph stuff we once had.

      The owners of the mall are getting fined on a daily basis. The building inspector has no power to magically make a crew show up. The city has to go through many legal hurdles to make the owners act or take the mall from them. This is not just a snap of fingers, this a long and lengthy legal process.
