Roger is a legend! Thanks for a great interview, AIA Utah!
I would have loved for this to work but it just doesn’t. The “plan” is 6 billion dollars and that doesn’t include new road construction on 5th and 6th or the remodel of the Rio Grand station.
What an amazing presentation put on by the AIA. This plan is something Salt Lake City and the State of Utah need. If you are watching this video please reach out to your elected officials to make this plan a reality.
Tim is an extraordinary architect whose buildings have influenced many technical fields, including medical research, physical science, and education. His architectural contributions have profoundly impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands who have interacted with his creations. But more importantly, he has profoundly touched the lives of many others as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, scoutmaster, and friend.
Dr. Jack Smith was one of my favorite professors while I was a student at Montana State University. His outlook on life and design ethos still remain with me years after I graduated. Whenever I am struggling with my own architecture work or career decisions, I like to visit his website and look over his fantastic work. Thank you Jack for imparting your design wisdom on me.
Please note that we cannot provide AIA Credit for watching this video.
I loved when Dr. Jack Smith talks about the three levels of comfort. He is truly a legendary Architect! Thank you for posting this interview.
Totally agree. Building relationships is so important.
