    Thank you so much, we are a lot needing this ! My ankle sprain healed, but from what I've learned I have scar tissues left. I can feel it and I can also see the thickness of the healed ligaments. So my question is, in addition to the improvement of mobility, by breaking the scar tissue, will these exercices help reducing the visible thickness of the scar tissue and therefor make the anke look thinner like before injury ?

    Thank you for your informative video. I have scar tissue in the right masseter / buccinator muscle due to an injury sustained from wisdom tooth removal. There is excessive fibrotic scarring that has not responded to any treatments that I had. I experience tightness, pain and have limited ROM. What is the best way to reduce this type of scar?

    • @MobilityDoc
      @MobilityDoc 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It would most likely be best to use your hands for any internal scarring, and to massage the area. It will become less painful with repetition.

    I really appreciate the info you have shared. I have abdominal adhesions from an anterior/posterior spinal fusion that are large and I believe are interfering with my intestines.It feels like hard fingers extending on either side of the vertical scar. I do not want surgery to remove them. When I touch them it is very painful at the site and I feel sharp pain in other parts of my body at the same time which is weird. Should I use a tool? Thank you

    • @MobilityDoc
      @MobilityDoc 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you for watching. I would use a tool for the external scar tissue, and I would look into myofascial release with a skilled healthcare provide to loosen the deeper adhesions. The tools could be very helpful for you.

    Thank you for this video. A year and a half ago I saw a chiropractor for pretty aggravating sharp pain in my groin after getting up from sitting/out of vehicles. After about three months of doing a few exercises like "the couch stretch, 90/90 and quad foam rolling'' the snapping went away and was accompanied by a much deeper more problematic daily pain. I started to feel super tight and stiff in my IT band and quad and get knee pain and knock knees when walking. (It has felt like I am carrying around a lead leg for about a year). I realize I also lean to my 'good side' when walking so balance has been a big issue I am working on. A physio believes I have a hip impingement and I am now waiting on an MRI to add more depth. Yay! Stay hopeful everyone ♥️

    thank you I was looking for something like this, everything else was just massages for very recent injury and it’s been a couple weeks now for me, I couldn’t run for 3 weeks but when I got back to it I felt this weird discomfort on the inner part of my foot and now with some research I believe it’s scar tissue, also when I would stretch and roll my ankles before running I would notice a significant difference in the mobility between both ankles, the one that had been injured, if I tried to stretch where I believe all that scar tissue is, I would almost feel some pain and it trembled from not being able to stretch as far like the other one. I may have returned to harsh activity too soon but hey, the military doesn’t wait for anyone 😭 I needed to start running again asap

    Can tightness here cause issues lower down the tendon? Im confused if i have muscle related issues or bone. That spot is very tight for me too

    • @MobilityDoc
      @MobilityDoc 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, tightness there can cause pain lower down. The tendon is part of the muscle, and it anchors to the bone. When there is stress in any muscle it can cause increased pull or tension into the tendon or anchor and then you can experience bone pain. Shin splints, for example, can become stress reactions, and then stress fractures, for that reason.

      @MobilityDoc 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes. It might take combo of a few ideas, but this video strongly targets what you need to break up adhesions, and free up ROM. In our experience, many many years of limited mobility doesn’t mean you can’t fix it. It just means it’s going to be hard. But that’s okay, you can do hard things.
