This angle makes the jumps look crazy!
So sad that i dont have such a rim. Sick training keep on grinding You should have your approach a little slower at start and faster in the end
nice job! very physical
This isnt a snide but to the person in the green tank top you lose lots of speed on your penultimate step but also it seems you drag your foot on the last step but it does look good
To the guy jumping off one foot: - Make your last step longer and lower yourself more to generate power. Think: short-short-short... LONG (right), then short again with your left. This puts you low on your legs, allowing your push off the left foot to convert much more momentum into upward movement. - When you push with your left foot, focus on going upward (vertical) rather than forward (horizontal). The power comes from the previous step; your left foot’s role is to act as a converter, turning horizontal momentum into vertical movement. - While pushing off your left foot, practice engaging and stretching every single muscle in your left leg-from your quadriceps to the tips of your toes. This can make a significant difference. To the guy dunking off two feet: - You're losing momentum and speed, which makes your run-up less effective (as seen in how you jump nearly the same height from a standing position). Work on quickening your last two steps and focus on converting that momentum into vertical lift. - Stay higher on the third-to-last and fourth-to-last steps. Then, like a rubber band, let gravity pull you down on the second-to-last step. Relax your muscles briefly, then explode on the last step. Right now, it seems like you're losing force on those earlier steps. - Similar to your friend, focus on stretching every muscle in both legs. Be prepared for some cramping initially! - You could gain a few extra inches by improving your arm movements. Check out your friend’s arm motion at 2:19-his timing gives him an advantage. To both of you: - It looks like you're aiming at the rim. Instead, focus on getting the ball into the hoop from above. This means your wrist should be at least above the rim. Psychologically, this mindset shift can make a world of difference. In my opinion, you’re both super close to nailing it! Let me know how it goes! :)
two foot guy here: definitely agree. approach and penultimate step are the low hanging fruit for me
@@layups2dunks Let me know how it goes the next time! I bet you got it :)
Overall good advice but you're wrong about one foot jumping, one foot jumping is much more reliant on speed so deeper knee flexion will actually make you jump lower because you lose some of the elastic energy from the approach, you want to focus on popping off the ground as soon as you land while swinging the arms and opposite knee upwards
i think its better if you jump a little earlier so u dont end up under the basket, but idk
Off dribble 9’ 9” soon 👀
Best group session of the year 🔥
He's alive! That 9' 8" hoop looks fun ngl, I hate those sports court plastic surfaces though. Got a few one-handers, let's go!
yea that surface is not it, def felt sketchy accelerating
@ yeah I’ve slipped on a court like that before, ruins confidence
One hand off vert surprised me, the classic two handers off vert came back at the end though 💪
@@domidunks thought the session was gonna be bad when i couldn’t get it with two, took awhile to warmup
Crushing it! Watched this pre session 😤
Man I was tweaking in the intro 😂. Epic session, see you next year!
4:24 I almost ruined the clip 🤣
Nah it added to it 😂
Fire intro 🔥. 10’ 5” off vert next time 👍
You touched 10’4?
@@IsMrMighty yup
This footage was so much better 😂. Awesome session!
lol the sound effects go hard
Chill session for sure 👍
9’ 7” two hander isn’t a PR?
it might be lol forgot about that
1” increments is the new meta
6:12 I’m dead 😂
too good 😂
you all can still turn to Christ if you have not God bless you
Solid session my guy! Off the dribble is on point, when you go up with two hands it's even crazier. I think if you try to go up intending to dunk with two hands then changing to one you would punch 9' 9".
def agree. i think the intent of going up with two adds a boost
2:15 you know it’s a good jump when the AirPods fall out 😂
I almost landed on them a few times 😂
1:00 probably best jump of the day technique wise, it’s funny seeing me film this in 3rd person 😂. Also the last clip of the video, Kevin got UP 😮
Solid session, my favorite is still that 9’ 7” off dribble attempt you had 🔥 The slow-mo on my miss had me weak 😂
You took off on that, looked like you were gonna punch that
Absolutely flying this session 😮
Trying to get like you big dog
