There is a lot of hype surrounding aftermarket coils for the gpx6000 but one must not overlook the power of the factory 11 inch coil supplied by Minelab out of the box. With each day Smokey and Jo spend in Tibooburra searching for gold the more of a data base of experience they begin to collect. While following old timer workings is the go to method, Smokey chooses to risk getting nothing to find other methods. One of the methods that can help is paying attention to where gold is being found and cross referencing this with geology apps such as Trilobite.
