I just EQ and reverb tbh,you made it sound like a Nexus-Adjacent thing which i like though it's compressed probably bcz of the soundgoodizer.I actually like some of the presets that come WITH Fl Keys itself,like Dark Piano,School Piano all that.
those presets are great, but some of them lacks the premium quality...

nope still sounds like garbage. If you want a good free piano get a good kontakt bank, or decent sampler, or find a preset on vital or something. There's so many better options than trying to sound design on FL keys

you could've honestly just cut the low out the piano after processing it and it wouldnt have been muddy, you had it but that was throwing it off imo.

soundgoodizer probably wasnt the best choice here mainly because compressing an already shitty piano wont make it sound much better, you could definitely do more just tweaking the fl keys settings in the first place

It could be the genre dude! I made it sound a bit darker too. Btw, thanks for the comment. (Also, it could be because I make trap beats, but generally, the FL keys sound feels a little cheaper than the other popular Paid VSTs.)

@@NCHDBeatsright click 808 on the drum sequencer and select cut self. Also try to use the bottom notes of the chords for your 808 pattern, try to keep the 808 above C5
Also ur clap is off it should be a half a bar in and repeat if that makes sense.

definitely keep up the work, i’d recommend maybe learning how to side chain for drums. learn about how to make your MIDI sound more natural and definitely learn drummers theory. learn about what plugins (stock first) you can use like reverb on the piano track and maybe some other back tracks. good work for a first beat
