Do you have an updated version using Google?
No, unfortunately, I do not. However... Just curious... I have had a lot of interest in this video over the last few years, and I am wondering if people are interested because they like the non-coding aspect primarily or if it's something else. If it's the non-coding aspect, I could make a template that literally anyone could follow. You'll need the programming tools, like python, nodeJS, and VS Code, but you won't have write any code or even know what you're doing.... It will basically have the same functionality. If you're interested in something like that, please let me know. Maybe I can put something together to replace this video.
Would request you to please create more videos.. very helpful
Thank you so much for sharing. Great explanation!
You're very welcome!
Is this outdated now that CMM is required?
how do you turn off the sound on dial pad?
i am new to this tech and trying to learn, I don't have words to express my gradittue in words how happy and thankful I'm for this simple explanation for RTP and RTCP..... thanks a lot sir
That's great to hear! You're very welcome!
Thanks a lot. The Video is very helpful espeically for the beginners like me
Hello On-premises cucm-registered vc via sip router pattern-sip trunk--VMN can be used vmn node and tested it;s ok. But do you know how to let cisco cloud-registered vc also used VMN when joined the webex meeting . I testd many times cloud-registered vc always used webex cloud media resources, could you pls give some sugesstions?
the logic is sound but the challenge for me is 0 Code experience. Even if I attempt to learn it wouldn't be enough to build properly for a customer. Where does one start to get him/herself up to speed with these type of programming skillset specific to this?
Pick a language, then start with the basics: variables, data types, functions, loops, etc. There are tons of free tutorials on TH-cam. Only when you're comfortable with the basics should you try to follow tutorials like this... not to build something for a customer. Do it just to learn. Do a bunch of them, and do them more than once. In the beginning it feels hard, but when you get through it, you realize it's not that bad. Don't listen to anyone who says x language is the best or y language is the worst. Different languages are good for different functions. If you're into networking, Cisco, Webex bots, and possibly AI, python makes a lot of sense. It's an easy language all things considered. On the other hand, JavaScript is great for the web. Spend some time researching different languages and understanding their strengths and weaknesses. Think carefully about what kinds of projects you want to build. It's fine to dabble in several languages just to get a feel for them... but once you choose a language, try to stick with it and get really good at that language before you venture off.
I can't wait to see the 6th video, please, don't give up you have done a great job. Thanks a lot.
Any next video yet? Great work btw 😊😊
I have it recorded... it just needs editing. Sorry for the long wait... been very busy with side projects.
This is not working now, can you recheck it? It would be really helpful, Thanks
Why I could’t see spark in text based?
+1 SUB, good explanation, thank you
Many thanks .! Well explained
Good morning sir.Your video once helped to install cms .I have cms 3.2 successfully installed.I have enabled the raise hand feature in the calllegprofile, participants and call.but the raisehand staus is now showing on the participant.what i am i missing? the lock feature is working. The host can admit participant
tried to create my lab and the option Webex in sandbox is not longer available :(
This is very unfortunate. If I can find another way for you to set up a sandbox, I'll post a message here (or make a video).
wonderful TYSM
Great
Thankyou so much
it seems to me that cisco has lost the colab battle with microsoft, and Lync is the clear winner, or skype for business or Teams call it what u want!
Great presentation, however this was done in a really old version so the information on the certificates is outdated and no longer applicable.
from what i can tell, it doesn't look like this sandbox is on their site anymore, am i missing something? thanks for the video series tho!
the 4 years ago video still helped me a lot! thanks.
simply outstanding
please upload your next video.. its really great to learn like this.. i am waiting ...
Hi , 1, May i know what is the option for registered to unified communication manager under calling? 2, How to create users emails Could you please let me know above?
HI Jason, Your video did not state how to configure a standby directory connector. can you briefly descirbe how to configure a standby directory connector, how do Webex cloud know which DC server is primary and which DC server is secondary?
when next video is going to be released. Really appreciate your efforts and the easy way you have explained.
Many apologies for the delay. I should have the next video out soon.
Can it used for our team in organisation
12:15 how to run it in windows VsCode..?
Thats a wonderful content. Kudos for making such cutting edge videos simple and clean. Cant wait to see the 6th video in the series.
Thank you very much! The next video should be out soon.
@@CollabCrush Still waiting :)
Thank you so much for this clear and concise explanation. As a novice CUCM admin, your videos have helped me tremendously! I would love to see one that explains how to setup Extension Mobility, including how to read existing configurations. For example, how to figure out the difference between the DN that is shown for a user that is logged into EM, and the actual extension that is assigned to the device that they are logged into. I have subscribed, and look forward to learning as much as I can from your content. Thanks again.
Thank you, I am planning on returning to CUCM-related videos after the new year.
please do that. the cucm 14! and expressway! and cms!@@CollabCrush
HELLO COLLAB I HAVE A QUESTION WHAT IS ESXI ?
Brilliantly Explained Loved it :)
Thank you very much!
Great Scott, look at that hair pinning. Don't worry, setting QoS or fancy SDN measures will help - over those public connections.... /sarcasm
Thanks for the video, i wondering is you have a video where you can add DN button on one extension, the user can answer that extension when the extension blinking but also the user don't want to the extension ring in he's extension, how I setting this?
great content and great video style thank you. Your channel will be sure to explode here soon
Thanks for the comment. That'd be awesome!
Thank you for your very very big help whit your videos, only one question when we´ll see the serie's rest?
Thanks for your comment. Since these CMS videos are a few years old now, I will probably have to start fresh with a whole new series that showcases the features from the more recent releases. I don't know when that will be... I have the rest of the year already planned out, and most people aren't interested in on-prem infrastructure anymore. Thanks for your comment, though. I will put it on my radar.
my web socket is open, however the bot would not respond. the messages from the bot are not coming to the server. Any guidance / help is appreciated.
This could be due to a lot of different factors. I would first check that the bot you added to your space is actually the bot you registered in the developer portal. Sounds silly, but I've botched this many times because they names can be so similar. So my advice is to first delete the bot that's in your webex app... then go back over to the developer portal, copy and paste the <name@webex.bot> address that was given to you when you created the bot, then re-add the bot to your webex app based on the username you copied from the bot registration page. Second, when you add the bot to your webex app, make sure you add it to a 1-1 direct message. If you just add it to a space, the bot will ignore you unless you address it with @mention.
1 question : Can client use their existing 4000 series ISR Cisco VG ? they are in E1/T1 for the PSTN Connectivity. Do they need to migrate to SIP trunk to make external calls ?
They'll need to configure it for LGW. I'll go through a standard configuration after I get through all the calling features. Will be one of the last ones for this series.
I have a question : How did you add the licenses to Control hub? in this case Web ex calling licenses
They licenses are automatically added with a Control Hub sandbox. In a real production environment, these would be added along with whatever subscription you purchased. In either case, there's nothing extra to configure beyond what's shown in the video.
Great video! Thank you. Very straightforward and good video editing.
Awesome! Thanks for your comment!
Do you have anything on building a webex bot using python? trying to log messages to a database for record keeping of checking in and out. any information would be great. i'm assuming i'll prob just have to start on the webex api documentation but the website is not as intuitive as it was making a discord bot
Take a look at the video I posted recently on building a ChatGPT bot.... In that video, I use a python package called "webex_bot"... of course you can ignore everything else about ChatGPT.. This package is all you need, and it is hands-down the best option for creating a webex bot.
I HAVE A QUESTION WHAT IS THE FEATURES ABOUT WEBEX AND SHE DOSE INCLUDES CCNA?
As far has I know, the CCNA does not include anything from Webex. However, the CCNP in Collaboration includes Webex. You can view the specific exam topics at learningnetwork.cisco.com/s/clcor-exam-topics
Geat content, valuable information, thank you sir
Awesome! Thanks for your comment.
It seems that now there is a SRST function if you have local gateway, could you make a video about this? I would appreciate it
I'll get to it eventually, but I have to sort out my lab first.
Wow no Africa or south America
It’s Wednesday! Looking forward to the next video! 😊
It's out right now! Enjoy.
Video #3 (Calling Locations) will be out this Friday.
