why doesnt mining work when you hit ore nodes with pickaxe? how do you get oil at the oil/quarry field? how does fishing work? and why can't you see stats on springfield rifle you find that the shop doesnt sell? and why do items disappear that you equip to wheel after equipping another item to another slot? game looks unfinished, some buildings just empty, no npc, no extra career paths, user interface not intuitive enough, movement and accessing stuff feels janky, running needs to be autorun/speed increased, and should be able to spawn horses inside safezones lots of problematic issues, unfinished and ingame tutorial not good, not in depth enough

Bro I just tried this game and HOLY shit its so good, I actually can't believe I haven't tried this yet as I love rdr2, rdr1 and just everything cowboy era related. And I got a really exciting and dramatic welcome to this game, I went into the general store in the town and talked with the people in there (like 4 people or so) and out of no where, I heard a few bangs coming from the street right outside, and I see an Arthur Morgan cosplayer and a Dutch cosplayer, both with guns. They start shooting up the street and then enter the general store and there was a slight peaceful moment before they gunned down the entire store and I barely made it out alive

Something important to do while hunting is to be aware of your surrounding because bison will sometimes charge at you even if you didn’t shoot them and natives and outlaws might kill you (especially natives because of the Ute spawn)

You forgot oil rigs but that’s fine, the risk is prob 2 stars, speed is 3 to 2 stars but the reward is crazy high. Just a tip

Also there is a way to dupe in thus game. U need someone else to do this with tho. Let us say your friend has a db shotgun and they die, you can loot them and take it also they will respawn with it.

When hunting make sure u are a few feet away from the bison. It only takes 2 shots to kill if u have good aim. Bison fur currently costs 75 and the raw beef costs 30- something. So far I made 20+ plus k off of that in like 4 to 5 hours of grinding.

Gun tips! ( you can correct me ) If you want a good weapon to use against animals and players,I feel like the DB is a good weapon for all stats even if it’s just a shotgun. Medium Range Good Damage and Fast Reload. Guns have a delay when firing, the best weapons to hit shots is the Henry Rifle because of a High Ammo count, fast bullet speed and accurate shots. ( Winchester too but the Ammo count is too low for a Mediocre reload. ) A thing to also note is that the Scoped Rifle is not as accurate as you think, I’ve missed multiple shots with it at Medium range and it is not very nice pairing that problem with riding a horse. Almost at the final one, I recommend if the person is moving you need to put your mouse cursor a bit in front. It is a basic tip but it sure helps in fights. Final one, You cannot have more than one of the gun type. This also goes for melees. Henry Rifle, Scoped, DB, Sawn Off and Winchester ( might have missed one ) are all in the same category. All revolvers are in the same category. EXTRA Officer’s Saber, Frontier Knife, Woodcutting Ax, Skinning Knife and stone hatchet are all in the same category.

Not to say this method is bad but if you have a shotgun or Winchester then you can just kill Bisons for a sweet 1k ( it takes ammo but you can just buy it after you get the cash )
