In Optimus's defense, Rachet was on some energon steroids. Bro was so confident in his abilities that he thought he could take on Megatron himself until Megatron put him down in like a move or two.

To be fair the Metroplex Scene wasn’t even Optimus destroying Megatron… it was METROPLEX destroying Megatron.

Originally according to the TF WIKI, Optimus was supposed to hit Ratchet, for mentioning the late Elita-One, for failing to save her from Megatron, but the writers decided it wasn't right for Prime to lose his cool.

Except the Cybertron games aren't connected to Prime, they can't be because there are way too many plotholes

1. Ratchet was on sternergoids 2. FoC came out after TFP, in like 2012 (TFP was in 2010) 3. The Aligned Continuity is well known for contradicting itself from time to time (because so many teams were making it), and was only meant to fit if you "squinted hard enough" (so said, what, the CEO of Hasbro at the time?) So yeah, you're gonna get used to seeing this kind of stuff.

Fall of cybertron the exodus trilogy and prime aren’t the same continuity. But are in the same “family”. I see them like siblings similar enough for comparison sake. But different enough to still be distinct from one another

The writers never took the Aligned Continuity story bible that seriously, mostly doing their own thing. Which resulted in many continuity errors.

I still want them to revive the game series and do a new game set on earth picking up where the last one left off. I know they did the weird crossover with the bay movies but I'm gonna ignore that.

Literally the first episode features a massive retcon with Dark Energon. I love the Cybertron Games and Transformers Prime, and I'm glad they're connected, but they aren't tied together very gracefully.

Dude. THEY DO NOT TAKE PLACE IN THE SAME UNIVERSE!!! I’m getting really tired of explaining this to people! The aligned continuity isn’t one universe. It’s a single storyline that all transformers series were meant to follow from that point forward. They follow the same story but are not in the same universe.
