The decision for cling to dust against mono green devotion is mostly "Do I want to gain 3 life or do I want to draw a card?" What card in mono green devotion cares about creatures in the graveyard? Drawing a card was definitely better in that game.

@@erichgardner8458 Cavalier of Thorns, Mono Green Staple and powerhouse. Not to mention other "Regrowth" effects in green in which case what good is a fight spell against your token deck anyways. Dude just pressing bottons and throwing shit at the wall hoping it sticks...

@ Cavalier of Thorns is only useful if its got something backbreaking to put on top of library. I'm pretty sure if Cavalier of Thorns' ability had somehow triggered that game, the opponent would not be putting some random creature on top against a control deck with removal for days. Like I said before, he targeted the fight spell so that he could draw a card, nothing more.

@@Waste_MTG i am planning on adding jokaulhups also lol. I was using mogis but waiting for some cards from the new group slug pre con, so i can maybe switch the commander if i want to. This commander is also a good idea never saw it this way.

Playing mono black discard and salt-afking is what a 10year old would do and no one else tbh so I guess hasbro’s goal of making the game more popular among younger people worked !

@@Waste_MTG You play scriptures one turn, next turn the second chapter triggers and nukes the board. You play Fall, then next turn you stack the triggers so it exiles their graveyard before Fall trigger resolves. Its pretty much game over if you're playing artifact creatures already.

Open the Way would be a great include, there are a couple others as well. This is one of those decks where you could build it 100 different ways and it would still be good. Lot of ramp options, lots of cards to choose from with four colors.

@@Waste_MTG True. I built Tatyova, Benthic Druid (the one in your deck) and was at absolutely no loss for great options for whatever effect I wanted. Landfall, and green ramp in general are really well supported lol

Yeah Tatyova is another great landfall commander, a lot of the cards are interchangable between these two decks

@@thomasfrye6335 The loop would end because you no longer have any cards to draw from deck. So all the triggers would resolve on the stack and you would keep playing normally

you would draw from an empty deck which would lead you to lose from a state based action and then the mastery would act as a replacement effect clearing the stack freeing you to make actions again

Dude had someone say that to my sliver deck i had each mana and 5 slivers on the field one being gemhide as they passed the turn with 2 cards in my hand so next turn i dropped the first sliver so i got to cascade got a single sliver but then dropped the sliver hive lord which got me a few more......yeah something about slivers being indestructible and cascading on cast it was over
