Hi with this pattern can you used red heart acrylic yarn for this project?
Hello there! Honestly, I haven't used red heart yarn.. But as long as the yarn is not itchy to the skin specially for the baby skin, then that should be good.

I used around 15-20grams of the yarn and this is about 4in x 7in

Yes, you can make the facemask bigger.. You may start with 15 chains at the beginning or 17 chains or any odd number.. Then, follow the same increase pattern until row 16 in the video. Before you proceed to increase row 17, you may add 2-4 rows [make sure to add even number rows from here] following the same increase pattern from the previous rows. Make sure to mirror the increase rows in your decrease rows. And if there is anything else that I can help, let me know 😘

I don't see the inner layer you are speaking of. This crocheted mask will not protect you from anything as it is finished here. You must wear a kn95 mask beneath it.
The purpose of the video is to show the pattern on how to crochet a 3D design facemask..
Is it possible to add more rows?
Yes.. Just follow the increase pattern.. Then, mirror the increase in your decreasing rows.

I'm going along with you step by step but in your captions when we start the 2sc it will say in 5th ch or 6ch. But following you it's the 1st ch. I'm asking because it may be the captions.
