I remaster live Elton John concert audience recordings to bring distant, fuzzy, or tinny tapes into live, dynamic quality! Please enjoy what this channel has to offer and as always, send in requests if you have them!
Elton John | Live in New York 3/10/1991 (REMASTER)
Finally brought this one to the channel! This remastered and enhanced tape has been sitting in my vaults for over a year now, and I'm thrilled to show you one of Elton's best live performances ever. Fresh out of rehab and in the midst of a break from touring and recording, Elton's voice is fresher than ever and retains much of his original 70s tone. He's also back playing a Steinway acoustic 9' grand piano, which he will only return to after the subsequent "The One" tour. While a far cry from usual concert lengths, this performance is a must listen. The gig opens with a fantastic version of Sacrifice, with Elton's clean tone shining through at a level possibly better than the album version. Your Song includes gutsy embellishments throughout that rival those of the early 80s. This show includes possibly the best live version of Come Down in Time to date, where Elton is joined by Sting on vocals and bass. Finally, the tape wraps up with a cover of Girl from Ipanema, where Elton and sting are joined by a band. While the audio quality from the original tape wasn't the best, I've managed to repair this version as best as possible for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!

Elton John | Live in Sheffield 11/26/1985
มุมมอง 2.1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Wow! This was the show that inspired me to begin my remastering journey all those many months ago. To date this is the earliest complete concert of the 1985 Ice on Fire Tour, and it certainly doesn't disappoint. Elton is in fine form, hitting a C5 in the first verse of Tonight, while Davey Johnstone's guitar pairs beautifully with Elton's freshly updated Steinway piano. One Horse Town has amazi...
Elton John | Live in Los Angeles 7/8/1988
มุมมอง 1.8K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Happy 75th birthday Elton! I decided to pull this one out of the vaults for y'all because it's truly a historic and pivotal show in Elton's career. This is the first full concert held by Elton since his throat operation and recovery from vocal nodules in 1987, and he leaves nothing to disappoint. Now behind the world class Roland RD1000 stage piano, Elton retains a fair bit of his 1986 band (mi...
Elton John | Tonight - Live in Sheffield 11/26/1985 (REMASTER)
มุมมอง 7012 ปีที่แล้ว
And so the uploads begin! I'm absolutely thrilled to be back after spending so long working on better remasters. I'm truly amazed at the quality of my latest work and can't wait to post more here soon. For now, here's Tonight from Sheffield, England in 1985; the first recorded show in circulation of the tour and the last time Elton uses the C5 phrasing in the song. This tape is not perfect by a...
Elton John | Farewell Yellow Brick Road - Live in New Orleans 1/19/2022
มุมมอง 29K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I recently had the honor of receiving this tape from a good friend that attended Elton's first show back on tour in New Orleans. The tape itself was in very good quality, but I made a few adjustments to make the listening experience even better! Elton opens the show with Bennie and the Jets, the first time the song has been played in front of a live audience since March of 2020. His well-rested...
Elton John | One More Arrow - Live in Montreal 10/30/1984
มุมมอง 6672 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey I'm back! I wanted to do something from the latter portion of the Elton's 1984 World Tour as there isn't much in popular circulation. I only recently discovered this amazing song and wish Elton would've played it more (maybe in 1985 - it would've been insane then!). This tape had some fuzzy noise and a weak bass. I attempted to normalize audio levels, amplify the entire recording, and adjus...
Elton Can Still Sing
มุมมอง 1.2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
To everyone who says Elton's old, worn out, and can't sing; I'm here to prove you wrong. This audio is from a few months ago during a small solo concert in Paris and Elton sounds fantastic! All that rest really pays off!

The Elton John Time Machine | Your Song - Live in Earls Court 1993/85
มุมมอง 5103 ปีที่แล้ว
After much work I'm thrilled to release my first video in my new series, The Elton John Time Machine! This recording features two soundboard sources merged together in a truly stunning performance! I have taken vocals from Wembley Stadium in 1985 and placed them into this fantastic show from 1993! It closely shows how Elton may have sounded in that show without the vocal scarring he endured in ...
Announcing The Elton John Time Machine!
มุมมอง 6083 ปีที่แล้ว
This a project inspired by the work of Brady Love (whom I will link below). My current plan is to take Elton concerts and "time travel" Elton's voice into different shows. For example, taking the 1984 vocals and placing them into a 1995 show. I may also switch Elton's older vocals back in time, showing what tours would've sounded like with his best bands! As always, if you have any ideas or sug...
Elton John | Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding - Live 1977 Wembley
มุมมอง 221K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This may just be the best performance of FFAF/LLB Elton's ever done! In 1977 Elton took a break from touring, and in this exact show even announced his retirement! (He was back on tour less than two years later.) For this one off charity show in Wembley, Elton called on longtime band member Davey Johnstone and his newly formed band China, which included the legendary keyboardist and composer Ja...
Elton John | Your Song - Live in Sydney 3/19/1982
มุมมอง 1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
What was a noisy, fuzzy, hissing tape cleaned up into a near soundboard quality performance! After I procured the Sydney 1982 tape, I spent hours working to clean it up, bringing it into a much more enjoyable quality. Elton's smooth, crisp vocals sound fantastic, even though this number is towards the end of the show. The white Steinway actually sounds like live, not full of static and feedback...
❤❤❤ LOVE RAY COOPER. HE ADDS SO MUCH TO THE OVERALL SOUND. DAVEY'S SIGNATURE GUITAR RIFFS, ELTON IN TOP FORM
I love how Ray Cooper throws the timpani stick way up in the air over his shoulder after he's done playing it.
Who was the guitarist ????
Davey Johnstone
There’ll never be another tambourine player like that guy again. Masterful, energetic performance…
He plays much more than the tambourine, that's Ray Cooper probably the world's greatest percussionist. He plays piano too
Ray still plays just as energetic now than back then! I saw Elton at the MSG in New York in 2022 and they were amazing!
Best Elton John song ever. Elton and Bernie and the band completely killed it
The best performer I’ve ever seen.
I'm 73 and early Elton made a huge impression on me in the 70's. First album, Tumbleweed Connection, Mad Man Across the Water, Yellow Brick Road, wonderful. Then he went another more poppy direction in the eighties and I kind of lost interest.
Voice and talent from God ❤❤❤
Awesome!
UMA GRANDE PENA QUE ELTON JOHN JÁ ESTEJA COM 77 ANOS DE IDADE, NÃO FAZENDO MAIS SHOWS MUNDO AFORA. EU INFELIZMENTE NUNCA TIVE OPORTUNIDADE DE PRESENCIAR UM SHOW DELE E VEJO QUE O SONHO FOI EMBORA PRA SEMPRE. O TEMPO NÃO PERDOA SENHOR NINGIÉM TODOS NÓS UM DIA VAMOS ENVELHECER E PARTIR AO MUNDO ESPIRITUAL. EU JÁ ESTOU COM QUASE 66 ANOS DAQUI MENOS DE UM MÊS. É ISSO AÍ.

James Newton Howard
WOW, When music was live, no in ear monitoring, no auto-tuning, just talent
I saw Elton, grew up during his releases from Tumbleweed on...mom from Pinner, etc. So here is my gripe. Why the heck is Ray Cooper featured so much? This is like the damn SNL Will Ferrill skit with more Cowbell please. Whoever put this together deserves dumb ass of the year award.
Elton is such an amazing singer, musician and writer but he’s an even better human being. This was nice to see and I must say if you have seizures you might not want to watch this video with all the endless flashing of the video that almost spoils it. If you get a chance check out Elton’s movie Rocket Man and read or listen to his really wonderful autobiography…🩵
John Lennon loved him as I do
It is a masterpiece Elton did good. Perfection
I confess my unexcusable ignorance, for I found out this masterpiece not so long ago and after being an Elton fan for many decades. This is one of his best songs, hands down. I can listen to it 10 times in a row and the awe is the same.
John Kurasic and Mitch Hall Forever in My Heart and Prayers Class of 78
A true, bona-fide Rock OPUS.
This is a fucking masterpiece of music. It’s Elton John. Move over Beethoven
He’s pretty good
Thank you! 😮 Great song+ video!
Tambourine man is full of himself
Saw Metallica play this for Sir Elton at The Library Of Congress.... Wanted to see the original because you could see Sir Elton give his approval by saying "INCREDIBLE" during the crowds standing ovation..... Yeah they nailed it!!!....
The better HD version of this concert is at Elton Stuff youtube channel: Search: *Elton John - Live at Wembley 1977 Broadcast* EltonStuff 41.2K subscribers
Easily his greatest song . Unbelievable talent
Many people misunderstand where FFAF stops and LLB starts. It is not where he starts to sing. It is the note at 4:50. The ending note of the first song is the beginning note of the second song. Awesome to see it
Why is this so poorly filmed? It's not because it is from the 70s. I'm talking about things like showing him from the shoulders up so we can't see him playing, superimposing images over other images so we can't see either one very well, etc. The lighting is terrible... I don't know if that is something that could have been avoided, or the best that could be done. Such as showing people and turning the lights off for part of the time the camera is on them. I don't know if the director would have known what the lighting was going to be like so he could plan for it. Don't blame the cameramen... All they do is get the shots the director tells them to get.
There's a much better HD version here of almost the entire concert that was uploaded. search: *Elton John - Live at Wembley 1977 Broadcast* EltonStuff 41.2K subscribers I can't put a link, it gets deleted every time.
Very typical of video work from the 60's and 70's ... psychedelic hippie hangover
Love Ray Cooper, but that was a bit too much tambourine for this number.
🙏🏼
Sound quality: B+
If I hadn’t been so young at the time, I would have run away to marry Nigel olsson. ❤️❤️❤️
Omg! That’s Mick Ronson on guitar; he played with so many greats like Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Elton John
Wrong..Davey Johnstone
NOBODY EVER RAISES BERNIE TAUPIN . HE WAS ELTONS RIGHT HAND , WITHOUT BERNIE NO WORDS
Captain and the Kid 😉👍
it's not one of Elton's best songs but mankind one. This can be enough proof of human existence
Did Metallica write the song?
No Bernie Taupin and Elton John wrote it.
Great music maker.Immortal 4 the ages❤🎉
Gods
transcendent
This beautiful medly is so passionate. It always brings tears of sadness and joy to my eyes ☮️
🌹🌹🌹
It's astounding what Elton John has done time and time and time again over the years with Bernie Taupin's verses.
Elton at the height of his powers performing a timeless masterpiece with his original band.
I love Elton John
One of my ABSOLUTE favorite songs
Years ago of course.
Looks good with a beret!
I was waiting for Christopher Walken to come out onstage and stop the show and say”I need more tambourine”!
Lmao... guys, this is almost 50 years old... this is like listening to music from 1920 during the 70s era of this music... i think the genre eras are plateauing into some sort of mix of the others but with a finality that can't be sub textual in nature... hmmm
