Great video! Plenty of helpful ideas for our upcoming trip to South Africa for safari with Odyssey. A small technical issue with poor sound quality detracted from fully enjoying the prsentaton.

I took Odyssey's Pearls of Dalmatia tour and had a great time. Incredibly scenic. Comprehensive itinerary. Very professionally run.

Enjoyed the expressions and sayings at 8:51. Thanks! I'll be visiting your country on a twice-postponed (by COVID) Odysseys tour in July, 2022.

Good advice. Wish we had seen this prior to our Odysseys Unlimited trip (with Ramone) this passing September/October. We managed fine, but we were surprised at the variable conditions (from up high at the center of Santa Cruz Island which was a like a tropical rainforest, to the low-lands which were almost like desert Arizona). For us it was the dry season and we never saw any rain (but it was damp/misty at the Royal Palms where we stayed). For snorkeling, there was rental gear on the boat that was used... and in addition to a mask/snorkel, we rented the light-weight wet-suits (which really weren't needed because the water was reasonably warm).

Took this trip with Alex - his wardrobe is just what he shows here! He is a wonderful tour guide.

He is very knowledgeable and explain attractions in Egypt in very well mannered and understanable way that is unmatched. He is also very helpful and generous with his capabilities. One of the best tour guides in Egypt. I went back to Egypt after about 15 years being in the USA and he was one of the most helpful people possible. His kindness and professionalism is amazing. My kids had a blast.

I had the pleasure of having Sam as my guide on a private 10-day trip to Cairo and Middle Egypt in November 2019 and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He is knowledgeable and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for him to arrange for me. Egypt is a wonderful place to visit, and I’ve been there many times.

An excellent guide can turn a wonderful location to an incredible, educational journey. I have travelled with Sam as my guide for 2 weeks throughout Egypt. His expertise and ability to communicate that knowledge to others made my trip a memorable one. Anything you want to know about Egypt's museums, pyramids, statues, temples and tombs can be easily explained to you by Sam.

We traveled to Egypt with Smithsonian Journeys in February 2020, right before Covid-19 hit. We were fortunate to have Sam as our guide. He is excellent, knowledgeable about Ancient Egypt and eager to share his country and its treasures with us.. It was a real pleasure traveling with him..

We traveled with Sam for 2 weeks last year (JUST before the Covid pandemic), and he truly made it the trip of a lifetime. Sam was not only knowledgeable on all things Egypt, he was also so patient, attentive, and kind. He also had a strategy to see the popular sites with minimal crowds--see more, wait less. You absolutely can't go wrong having Sam as your guide!

Sam is the very best guide - knowledgeable, welcoming, funny and just a delight to be around.

I have traveled with Sam and gone with him to this museum. He is the best guide I have ever had -- an expert on all things Egyptian as well as being patient, helpful, funny and kind.
