    The video is interesting. At the same time, babies are recommended against watching videos/screens before the age of 2, so I'm curious who the video part is for

    Hi Laura, are You making new videos?, cause we really enjoy it. I am using most of the time, the one with chromatic tones. It's 21 minutes long, just right and covers all the pitches, in a loop format. I play it to the child, in the car, while driving to the kindergarten in the morning for 10 minutes, and also in the evening at home, but longer. He seems to enjoy it more and more, as he repeats the pitch quite accurately, after hearing it. He is nearly 4,and I'm wandering, if the hard work will pay off. Cheers Jack

    Hi Laura, I'm playing the chromatic and naturals to my 3years young boy, and he just listens to it while he's playing, doing other stuff. I think the 20 minute exercise with repeating sequence is a good dose. I do it in the morning and evening. I keep it going everyday, cause it needs commitment, and discipline from the parents mainly at this stage. I am sorry, that not many parents are prepared for this sort of commitment, cause it takes some effort too.

      @@perfectpitchforkids Hi Laura Just a little reflection about the comments in the media in general by other people, about perfect pitch. How can they think about it, as only a party trick, and something useless? It's got more advantages, than disadvantages, it's plain simple and clear. Isn't this kind of attitude in our western culture, as the main reason, why we are so much behind the Asian population? I know, they have the advantage in their tonal language, which facilitates the developement of perfect pitch in little children, but at least, the gap would not be that big.

    This is works well to sing with the baby. I like to hang on a drone dropping or raising by a half or whole tone, if I find the new interval dissonant.

    Hello Madam, I am teaching a little child, - a boy now nearly 3 years young. Right after birth I would play a lot of classical music to listen to. Then after about 8 months started playing diatonic notes in C scale. After 2 years I started using chromatic notes. Do You think it's a good way to do it? Regards Jack

    Hi Laura, thanks for uploading the new video with perfect pitch for babies. I have a question, - is a 2 year old good time to introduce sharps? Should we show specific colours for each note during the exercise, and if yes, what would be the choice for each note. Should we stick to the international colour assignment, meaning, - C red D orange and so on, Cheers Jack

    • @perfectpitchforkids
      @perfectpitchforkids 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      2 years old is a great age to introduce sharps and flats in fact i just released a new video which includes those th-cam.com/video/KVmlT5zVaVg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=G9YUkD68_tk0ISxB in terms of using specific colors associated with the notes. It could be helpful for memory but as far as I understand there is no data around any particular color’s being more closely associated to any of the notes.

    I have seen most of your videos and I have to tell you, you need to try a different approach. I see what you're trying to do by the way you're filming these and the subreddits you post them in, but it isn't working. I am not saying you don't have talent or a concept worth exploring, you just aren't hitting the right combination yet. First, definitely lose the nose sticker. Keep the animal clips, maybe finding a new way to integrate them though. Different recognizable outfits. Play around with wardrobe until you find one that people relate you with. Set design is a must. I also see you as an SNL Dieter Sprockets kind of dancer. You seem rigid in your dance moves anyway, so just go all the way in that direction instead of forcing a looser style on yourself. Also, I recommend really straightening your hair, losing the curl at the ends, and making it look more like Lego people hair. Just my opinions, could definitely be wrong. Peace out!

      Since these videos are intended for children I'm not sure your opinions are relevant. I suppose you have to appeal enough to adults to allow or choose to have their children watch these, but an adult's perspective on what "works" in a children's video is irrelevant when it comes to whether or not the kid will be interested. I think her nose sticker, the animal sounds, her goofy dance could all "work" for little kids. I'll show these to my niece and nephews and report back 😹
