You should learn like to play good music..all black metal bands should...👍

Ehn-tumb'd😂😂😂🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
pls react to falling in reverses recent new song ‘Ronald’
With VK type songs like this, especially Diru, it always comes across like prog because there's so much meshing of genres that wouldn't necessarily be done in western music. This is one of my favorite Diru tracks, thanks for reacting to it! Ranunculus is also really fun.
bro just wanna show off his guitar skills instead of appreciates the art of the musician he reacting to lol
how many members in your 6 piece black metal band with a witch on call
Priest is my favourite band ever and I literally cried the first time I heard Panic Attack . It's perfect
Your shred initially sounded good 👍
Can I suggest you react to some Atheist?
The speedballs definitely aided in the lightning fast execution and rapid riff changes, both composition-wise, but also just in volume. My dad introduced me to this album on cassette when I was like 14 in his grey mini-van with the silver skulls on the wing-windows on the back. Recalled and explained all the MegaDave history he acquired from his 80s metalhead days after high-school on the second listen. If you haven't dived into the interviews and history I'd highly recommend it. Preferably with your chill strain of choice on hand.
The new album is very problematic. If this was the bands only album, you wouldnt be their fan. There is not any memorable moment, the are no significant melodies, transitions, simply not good composition that was remarkable for Opeth in their whole carrier. The album is very drums oriented, you just listen to sound enhanced drums which overkill everything else. And i dont like that drummming! Its like a machine. Yet, the album is very ambitious, i am not saying they didnt put any effort into it, they did, quite a lot of effort and wanted to do theiur best album. But maybe michael has done all the melodies he was supposed to do in his life, and now grinds mindless scale progressions.
What is this french band?
EASILY best album of the year and best album to come out since in cauda venenum in 2019. Goes in as my sixth favourite album of all time. Of course, every album in front of it are opeth records, as well as the 8 after it. None above opeth! 14 masterpieces and still going is so impressive i can't even understand it.
Definately pretty bad! It's really goofy, cringe and unmemorable.
I could not finish it, could not be more boring and pretentious
Lol k
No memorable riffs, no great melodies like Mikael used to gift us. A lot of technicality that leads to nothing. I’m very disappointed.
Exactly my feelings.
Clickbait much?
yes it is clickbait like it is written in the pinned comment :v
I love this album, listened to the original mix for years, and actually prefer it simply cause my ears are so used to it. Great album great songs and playing, terrible mix, but I don't want to hear it any other way, I'm 56 I got used to it over the years.
I finally found a review I agree with on this album. I cant believe all the praise this album is getting, I think the fans have forgotten what made Opeth so amazing. The beautiful and complex acoustic passages in pretty much every single song. The darkness of the melodies sung or growled over moving and complex riffs. Instead of the acoustic passages we are now getting synth pads and mellotron everywhere. It makes it sound so synthetic to me. Every song on this album starts with drums and bass in a syncopated riff. There are maybe 4 or 5 memorable riffs that are impossible to discern because of the synths and vocals buried in mounds of reverb distorting the entire experience. I wouldnt say this is the worst Opeth album, but as far as post 2008 Opeth, this is at the bottom or slightly above Sorceress for me. To contradict many others, I loved ICV, its actually an A tier album for me.
Yes, most of the songs on the album go nowhere. It's the first album by Opeth I haven't had the urge to listen to it again after my initial listen. There are not many anchors like interesting chord progressions, melodies, grooves, etc. The first song S1 got the balance right then everything after is disjointed (that could have been interesting like they do on a song like say, The Lotus Eater) Yes production is nice, musicianship is on a high level, growls are back etc. but it doesn't add up.
Absolutely. Once one of my fave bands, this was the first time I really struggled to make it to the end of one full listening. Don‘t believe the hype. It‘s not memorable, too derivative, disperse and experimental and with no lasting potential. So yeah, unfortunately their worst album so far - and by far. The previous one already hinted at this but now it‘s clearly too much, the always haunting melodies getting tiresome soon and no possible comparison with Ghost Reveries or Watershed.
1,4, 5 and 6 had instant hooks
I like the numbers. I remember each one. I think the record really starts rolling at 4,5 & 6. I was going to take a break but couldn't stop listening to the end which was amazing. I smiled when I saw this vid title. I'm like ah click bait.
Yea the record is nearly hypnotic. It gripped me at least without distraction.
On s3 solo is pretty easy to remember
I've had time for only a couple listen-throughs, but so far it's great, it's different but still very clearly Opeth. My first impressions were that it's a lot less dark and gloomy, even the heavy parts feel like there's always something positive peeking though. So far for me as well 4, 5 and 6 were the standout tracks. Everything sounds excellent, especially the drums. If I want to reach for negatives, maybe some of the vocal stuff feels a little bit over-produced for my taste. I'm curious to see how these evolve when played live.
Yes the title is clickbait, sorry :v
You will get less views like this 😂
Clickbait is only clickbait when the video sucks, yours wasn't so kudos.
Mate, I like your laconic style. Keep up the good work. 🤘👍
this album definitely had punk vibes
Was about to watch this reaction, but I immediately stopped when he started spreading lies about ManowaR like to be known for canceling concerts in the last minute - this is not worth my time!! Thumbs down!!
Sorry, but practice. That was gibberish
@@rendrag156 yes it was, I know. That's the point of an improve, sometime I manage to make it sound good, sometimes I don't. I keep my videos as honest as possible and don't hide stuff when I do mistakes.
In which world did you lived? Playing Metal and do not knowing this Band is unbelievable
@@Alex_Bull01 I knew it was a comment on the manowar video when I received the notification, you guys really thing your favourite band is way more important than it actually is x) you are not Metallica OK x)
@ This has nothing to do with „favorite“. They are Monsters in Metal history. Every Metalhead knows Battle Hymns, Into Glory Ride, Hail to England and Kings of Metal. It’s like being a Christian and do not know that a pope exist. But hey. No one will remember you tomorrow. But they are still touring the world
Great video and channel content, dude!! I want to recommend 2 vinyl releases to you. Medieval Death LP and free DVD and the Mordicus “Rights ‘n Trials” LP. If you want to know more, I suggest that you Google this exact sentence: "Medieval Death LP and free DVD + Mordicus Rights ‘n Trials LP". You will be able to check audio, videos etc. \m/ P.S: Your guitar wants to kill ma mama!!
One of the best album Death Metal, y hear this album regulary since 1990😊
I've heard of this band but I've never listened to one of their songs....
Oh. Myung and Petrucci now play left-handed instruments. Their talent to switch from decades of right-handed instruments to now left-handed knows no bounds! [yes, I understand what is going on]
That guitar sound, its amazing. Can't beat that distortion
First thank you for the reaction. I enjoyed it. Second about the new sound system, I'm not professional but the thing is when you talk and have pauses during your sentences, the music keeps going up and down, don't know if you can set a tolerance level or something, like to go up after 1 or 2 seconds of silence from your mic. As for the song I enjoyed it myself but wouldn't give it 8,I'll go for a 7,cause it lacked something new, after all if you do something progressive over and over again then where is the progression in that. To me alien got that aspect. To me this was a announcement of portnoy is back, come and hear the portnoy fills again 😊. As for the song request I didn't know the song and it was unfair to use tools to catch the song, so I will just request in case Noone guesses the song. Since you have heard dream theater discography I will go to some uncut gems that you might haven't heard of. Band : agalloch Song: in the shadow of our pale companion
@@amirpeyman3109 I'm a big agalloch fan haha, I cannot react to their songs I already know everything by them.
Why is no one talking about how much the intro sounds like freezing moon
Because no one knows what "freezing moon" is?
It sounds more like Witch Hunt from Rush
@@rebelmetal4233 it's a famous black metal song
Dude......now I can't unhear it!
i like the shreded riff and the drums but you right the melodic solo is sad solo dramatic the vocals maybe add some backing voice of grawl yap may its good hehehe
Great new song!!🤟🏻
Why Can’t I find the whole interview?
If you chose to react to diru again, check one with translated lyrics, I would recommend Kaya, a channel dedicated to translating their songs (Vinushka is a good song as an introduction)
They can be very heavy, try your is an empty hope tohear her growl
Ralf Scheepers is one of the greatest metal singers for me, listen to earlier lives with him, awesome voice capabilities.
Bro where am i
This is just an extract from his interview, nothing has been modified. Nothing.
black metal guitarist, but wearing a system of a down shirt, wtf?
Would love to see you react to the song "As God Is My Witness" also from the album Invincible Shield.
This entire album is nothing but bangers all the way through. There are easily 4 songs that would have been perfectly suited on Painkiller.
I don't get why people don't like Emily. Her vocals are amazing
Because people are retarded. She is a great singer, there is not a single moment where I thought "she doesn't belong here". Also she has done just 4 shows with the band, imagine in a year...
