We finally made the trek to Florida to fish aboard the Mako Minded with Capt Kurt. With somewhat of a weather window we headed out in rough conditions and ended up being the only boat in our zone. Here we got to try our Heavy Swordfish rod with 12 pounds of lead in high current and it performed very well in these conditions.
