As someone from thornbury I love this video, you really showed all the beautiful parts 😊
Wow couldn’t do that now
I was there
Deserved more, josh said something like “those of you at the back give us a cheer” and then went “it’s not that far back” 😂
Hey Curious Odyssey, Your video content is amazing and I enjoyed it very much. So far, you have uploaded 49+ videos and achieved only 159+ subscribers but your videos are not viewed and subscribed that much. The numbers should be more than they are now. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target viewers. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. So you need to optimize your TH-cam channels & do video SEO then your channel will rank & grow very fast and monetization of your channel will be on. Are you interested in improving those issues?
Great video guys. Weve seen a few videos of this place ver the last year or so & we still haven't visited it yet. 😊
Awesome video
Good video
Really enjoyed this video. Lovely atmospheric scenery. And those exposed tree roots all around. Simply magical. We done a walk from the village through the valley taking in the viaduct & the chimney from the lead mining days. We did keep a lookout for the castle but i think we were expecting to see a whole castle. No wonder we couldnt find it. Lol. We filmed it for our TH-cam channel. I just wish i had your talent at talking to the camera. You have a very good speaking voice. Nice & clear & speaking not too fast. All things i cant do especially with my strong Bristolian accent. 😊😊
Hi Martin, we are honestly thrilled that you enjoyed our video! We have seen a few of your videos actually and we will make sure that we reach out in future so that you know that we are there! I (Melissa) am actually a bit put out that I didn't realise the chimney was there! I actually came across this site several years ago (little one was still in a pushchair) by seeing the word "Castle" on an Ordinance Survey Map - and I can't just see that and not explore! I think we saw two towers and part of the curtain wall - there is more, I believe, just have to keep wondering to find it I guess! Funnily enough I actually come from South Bristol myself :) if you are interested in a collaboration that combines our storytelling and videography skills just let us know! Many thanks - Steven and Melissa AKA Curious Odyssey
@@curiousodyssey Hi guys. A collaboration would be great. We are available most weekends & we live in East Bristol not too far from Bath. Let us know what you have in mind. It would be great fun as well as a new challenge. 😀
Cool ruins
Really cool! And totally forgotten - we only found out about them because of the word "Castle" on an Ordinance Survey Map and then went out of our way to research! I (Melissa) love these little snippets of history that are fading back into nature!
Promo'SM 🙈
Nice hike
It was gorgeous! 100% Recommend Wetton for a scenic walk!
I Was at the front
We hope you had the best time! We loved it (even though we were dancing at the back!)
@@curiousodyssey it was great
@@curiousodyssey yas dancing like mad
Love the guy in the white shirt jamming
Like so many people I couldn’t get tickets to this. Outside the fenced off area there was literally thousands trying to hear this in Hyde park. Yet all the pics of the inside show it looking half empty. Real shame.
Tbf in the pit area like this everyone was all pushing at the front sl the back was really empty
this is proof that going to watch live music where there is 90 000 people and you are near the back is a complete waste of time
Everyone was over at elton john by the looks of it. Pity about that clash.
Yes it's a real shame! We did half and half - first half Elton and second half QotSA who were excellent!
how was the wheater?
Actually really lovely! Sunny but comfortable!
Lucky you! 🎉
Wow are you getting tickets
This does not look fun
Was this the same time Lovejoy played or a different time?
Absolutely banging set……..
This is their Genesis prog rock interlude on Evil Has Landed..they nailed it as always.
Looked way bigger than that on the night
Funny, they were saying how walls are bad and to end borders at this music festival yet this festival had 8k meters of 12ft high walls with watchtowers to keep out those that didn't have tickets. Does anyone see the hypocrisy here?
I pointed this out also, pure virtue Signalling 😂
Did u see Elton John?? No one let him down other than dua Lipa
Omg I was there she is so amazing ❤
Good performance she’s very good live, shame it wasn’t filmed.
Murder on the music scene
Elton John. Dua Lipa. CONNOR ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A field of sheep
Wow look at that turn out!
Cannot find any of this lovely lady on I player so thanks for posting this😊
Hi all when do tickets go on sale for next year. No way I'm missing this
For Glastonbury Festival? October 2023 the tickets will be on sale for June 2024, but you need to register for tickets before they go on sale! Hope this helps you!
❤I love Lizzie!
She was fabulous!
Pro tip come a few days before the actual festival opens!
So technically your queuing up for 3 days instead of 5/6 hours, class tip that 🤣
As in go in the grounds and set up camp? Or do you have to wait outside? Cause if you can camp for a few days before the festival starts that actually sounds mint
@@leliza8477you can camp from wednesday which is better than friday (when the bands start) but most people come on friday
Glad I’m at home
E no Brasil isso?
All that stuff will be left behind 😅
Went once wasn't for me very middle class
Don't be so hard on yourself, you'll get there
@@healthiswealth1452 can you read 🤣
@@angrybrit129 I meant one day you won't be lower class, be positive
@@healthiswealth1452 lol class doesn't work like this in UK , it's not linked to financiall success it's upbringing , I'm financially succesfull but I'll always be working class
@@angrybrit129 sounds like a you problem then.. Stay positive bro
This looked like a fantastic day for a hike!
It was honestly a beautiful Spring day! :) We felt incredibly lucky!

Great tour!
Thank you for watching! We had a lot fun on our walk 😊😊
Good video
Thank you so much! 😊😊😊
YORK England, City Cruise Boat Trip LOVE LOUIS SHIRLEY
Good video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)
The building at 5.40 is the old pound where they kept animals that had strayed in to the town. Also possibly a lock up.
Thank you for solving this mystery for us! We can see how this might have also been the "Village Lock-Up" so to speak!
this place is amazing i have viseted before
