Monkey Jungle
We visited Monkey Jungle in Miami, Florida on May 22, 2023. It is a Primatorium (a place that mainly works with primates). It is a very good place to interact with various species of monkeys and learn about them. I rate it as a small 5 because it only deals with one type of animal, but highly recommend seeing it when you are in the Miami area. If you have kids they will love it.

Guadalupe Mountains National Park
มุมมอง 282 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
We visited Guadalupe Mountains National Park near Dell City, Texas on April 22, 2013. It is mainly wilderness and hiking trails with a perimeter on the south edge of the park. We drove the perimeter road and visited several sights and took some of the short trails while we were there. If you don't do much hiking (like us) then it is worth a few hours as you pass by it to go to Carlsbad Caverns ...
Mississippi Aquarium
มุมมอง 1074 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
We visited the Mississippi Aquarium in Gulfport, Mississippi a few months after it opened during the summer of 2021. It is one of the newest oceanarium around. It replaced on destroyed during hurricane Camille. It is a small aquarium but I would rate it as a 7 since it is the only place I know you can see both American Alligators and American Crocodiles at the same place. It is well organized a...
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
มุมมอง 1157 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
We have visited the Great Smoky Mountains National Park 6 different times between 2006 and 2023 for a total of over 30 days. This is the most visited National Park in the Nation. In this video we will cover most of the park you can from a car. We will stay in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and drive to Cades Cove along the Little River stopping several times. We will drive Rich Mountain Road, US 441 (th...
Minnesota Zoo
มุมมอง 2329 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
We visited the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley near Minneapolis, Minnesota in the Spring of 2020. It is a very large zoo and takes all day to cover it. I rate is as an 8 among large zoos since it has some very uncommon animals in it. It is the only place outside of Hawaii that you can see Monk seals (only about 100 are alive today). I would say it is well worth a visit to the area just to see the...
Milwaukee County Zoo

We visited the Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the fall of 2018. The animals are well displayed and there are a few unusual animals there also. I rate it as a 7 among medium size zoos. I would highly recommend you visit it when you are in the area.
Great Salt Lake State Park
มุมมอง 3319 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
We visited the Great Salt Lake State Park near Salt Lake City, Utah in the Spring of 2014. It is the largest natural lake west of the Mississippi River. The park is a small area on the south shore and mainly a marina with a small Visitors' Center. The lake when we visited it was in the middle of a draught and had lots of marches around it. I think it is worth a trip out to see it when you are i...
Miami Seaquarium
มุมมอง 6721 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
We visited the Miami Seaquarium in Miami, Florida on May 22, 2021. It is the oldest oceanarium in the USA. I rate it as a small - 4. Frankly I was highly disappointed in it. Growing up I read a book about building it and that inspired me to study Biology and Fisheries Biology. Unfortunately it has not kept up with renovations and it is now very dated and needs lots of maintenance. At the time I...
Grand Teton National Park

We visited Grand Teton National Park near Jackson Hole, Wyoming in the Fall of 2019. We spent prats of two days in the park. This park is just south of Yellowstone National Park and our idea on the first day was to drive down through Yellowstone and then through Grand Teton, but there was a snow the night before and the pass between them was closed. We had to drive all the way around Yellowston...
Mendon Southwick's Zoo
มุมมอง 59วันที่ผ่านมา
We visited the Southwick's Zoo in Mendon, Massachusetts on October 4, 2021. It is a small privately owned zoo but it has several unusual animals in it so I would rate it as an 8 among small zoos. I would recommend you visit it when you are in the area.
McClain Resort
มุมมอง 10614 วันที่ผ่านมา
We visited the McClain Resort Safari Park in Brandon, Mississippi on July 27 2019. I would rate it as a Medium 7. It is above average because it has some very good close up animal encounters and the animals come to feed easily, but it also forces you to ride in their vehicle which makes for limited encounters with the animals. I would recommend you go to visit it when you are in the area.
Grand Canyon National Park

We visited the Grand Canyon National Park near Tusayan, Arizona in the Spring of 2014. We left southern Arizona in the bright Sunlight and before we arrived it was snowing heavily. We were unable to visit the Northern Rim (near Fedonia) due to it being closed due to snow so we stayed at El Tavor on the South Rim. The South Rim is over 1 1/2 miles elevation so snow and ice is common. The Canyon ...
Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk
มุมมอง 5214 วันที่ผ่านมา
We visited the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, Connecticut on September 17 , 2021. It concentrates on the Fauna of the Long Island Sound and it is a Medium size Aquarium and about average (5) for that size aquarium. I would recommend that you visit it when you are it the area.
Golden Spike National Historical Park
มุมมอง 48414 วันที่ผ่านมา
We visited the Golden Spike National Historical Park near Corinne, Utah in the Fall of 2019. This was the 50th Anniversary of the driving in of the Golden Spike to finish the Transcontinental Railroad on May 10, 1869. While we were there they had a reenactment of the event with two steam engine replicas of the original Steam Engines there that day. You can take a look inside the engines also.
Lowry Park Zoo
มุมมอง 5714 วันที่ผ่านมา
We visited Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida on May 16, 2021. It is a well organized zoo with several unusual animals. Although it covers a small area, it packs a lot into that area. I would rate it as a Medium 7 and would definitely recommend visiting it when you are in Tampa.

Your music is awful. Need something peppier.
Sorry you don't like the music. What I put on this video is popular with the crowd I travel in and highly recognized. Probably what you are referring to is more contemporary and remember those songs carry copyright to use. Also me reason for publishing these videos on You Tube is because I want to show the grandeur of God's creation and thus what is better to put as background music but contemporary versions of Christian Hymns?
The highest peak in the Tetons is Grand Teton, at 13,775ft…All of the 3 highest peaks are above 12k…Just fyi.
I thought that Wikipedia had it wrong - maybe they meant about 7,000 feet above the valley
You are correct….They are around 7000ft above the valley floor, but over 13K above sea level, which is very confusing, unless you are concerned with oxygen levels. I believe the numbers in your post are more accurate.
@@rebsince71 Thanks for the information
That's Illinois looking east across the river, not Indiana. I do appreciate all you did to make this video!
You are correct about that
It's Kansas City MISSOURI! Not Kansas
Ok, I see now it is on the Missouri side - we stayed on the Kansas side - Sorry for the error. I get it mixed up in my mind regularly since it is two cities in two different states right next to each other.
Very nice, thank you!
Thanks for the video it amazes me on how many different species of animals are in the world, I go to the KC, Des Moines, Wichita, Springfield Mo, Omaha, Topeka Zoo and never seen a lot of those animals!
I am posting a different zoo or aquarium every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We have been to over 200 of them. If you are interested I am also going through all of the species I have seen in my life (and taken pictures of). I have been through Mammals and I am posting Birds now. I post on my Facebook page every day a different species. I have two different pages named Allen Dearing but posting on only one of them. Thanks for the encouragement.
Music drowns out narration.
.. LOSE THE MUSIC .. IT IS SO--ANNOYING .. WE WANT TO "HEAR YOU" ..
I say what I think I need to say at the beginning of the video then I let you see what is there with few comments.
@@allendearing2584 .. Comment More .. Music-Less ..
I'll second that. One or the other, but NEVER both.
@@DuckGuy-1957 I understand your comment. I try to put a low music track behind my narration but I seem to have gotten it a little loud on this video. I put a music track on the nonnarrated part because most of the audio on the video is really bad or uninteresting and maybe even distracting. So I lower the video sound track and add what I consider to be appropriate music.
this is awesome!!!
Thank you
No 🦁 😭 and t🐯
I have no idea what you are trying to say.
I know y'all have tigers and bears but y'all need to bring 🦁
@@ArvielMcwilliams Actually there are bears in the video, and they do not have tigers on display at the time I was there.
Where they have 🐅 in 2024
@@ArvielMcwilliams I haven't been there recently
Cool!
Request: 2000 - Orlando - Disney World - MGM - The Magic of Disney Animation
Sorry, but I do not have that video. I do have a video of MGM in 2007 with a 10 second part about The Magic of Disney Animation if you want to see that.
The music sounds like you should be in Salem not the Cape!
I just like the music. Sorry it disturbs you.
Beautiful day, nicely filmed. Thank you!
Yo -- you left off an S in the name of the state in your headline! Oh, and try to spell "Provincetown" correctly, and please do NOT call it "Providencetown."
sorry - spelling is not one of my best skills - Now sure where you said I misspelled Provincetown though?
@@allendearing2584 You misPRONOUNCED it as "Providencetown." Several times. Next video, get a spelling expert to help. We come cheap!
@@tovarisch2788 OH, thank you for pointing that out.
Fun fact- Striped bass another type of sea bass can actually survive in freshwater and are regularly stocked into rivers and lakes in North America.
You crazy dog
I haven't been on this ride in ages. But I do hope to finally come back here again sometime.
