I was looking up this song on TH-cam because I just finished rereading The Lightning Thief and wanted to hear the best song in the stage musical again. Imagine my surprise when I found the version performed by my alma mater when I was a student there. Such a delightful trip down memory lane! I still haven’t emotionally recovered from the Betty White cameo. 😂

Research as much as you can. Focus on what makes Grover different! Grover is a three dimensional character, who can sometimes get left behind, so find what makes your Grover, unique and expand from there. Stay true to the story, and most importantly stay true to you, and that will set you apart!

Can anybody tell me why tink lives in this Version again i thought he dies
Tink hasn’t “Died” is a couple versions of the show. In our specific version he was pistol whipped really badly, so he didn’t get shot just really injured. Tink was our sign of “hope”. When he forgave Falco in this song it showed us that growth is possible if we “believed” it was. Even if technology none of us ever grow physically it’s possible to achieve growth mentally. Which is an underlying theme of the show. Once you “Believe” anything is possible. You can’t kill a hopeful believer😊😂

One thing that bugs me is that grover is wearing short pants but there is no goat legs sticking out
Its this way in the actual musical too, its cause at this point they're travelling in public and being seen by a lot of humans so he can't just go around with his goat legs lol
I actually saw this version when it was running. Grover does have goat legs when they’re in the camp. He just doesn’t have them while traveling because he’s trying to blend in with humans.
all their voices and costumes are incredible, BUT SEYMOURS VOICE OMG ITS SO POWERFUL, shivers.

my god this cast is absolutely fantastic. especially the actors that play jagwire and zahara... they are brilliant and bring such a playful tone to the characters <3
