Very rough surf on the day we visited. Somewhat compelling to look at but never underestimate the ocean.

Driverless trains are becoming more common but in 2019 they were still a novelty. At the very least, this was the first time I'd been on one, so of course I was going to sit right up the front so that I got the "driver" experience. Taken on a dreadful weather day in Tokyo, going over the Rainbow Bridge.

This is a unique bridge at Coalcliff, one of Wollongong's northern suburbs. It runs parallel to a cliff, and was built to replace the old road that was subject to landslides.

Narrow bridge over the River Cèze, near the town of La Roque-sur-Cèze. You really need a car to see the small villages across the south of France, but driving on the opposite side of the road can be challenging.

Tjaša Kysselef of Slovenia competes at the 2020 World Cup gymnastics in Melbourne. She was a vault specialist, having made many World Cup finals. Here she competes a Yurchenko 1 1/2.

Anastasia Ilyankova of Russia competes at the gymnastics World Cup in Melbourne, February 2020. Although she missed a difficult element here, she went on to become the Olympic silver medallist on bars at the postponed Tokyo Games.
