Never used the s4, but based on other hayabusa gloves, these will fit more snug, these will offer better wrist support, but harder to get in and out of. Never been the biggest fan of hayabusa styling either and the S4 is an ugly ass glove imo.

I believe they are all Leather, years back I believe the cups were synthetic unless you requested leather or did a custom, but I think that has changed since then.

@@tobirama-4253 I think promex is more comfortable, more ppl like the styling and color (Reyes rip, but it works) but I think powerlock offers better wrist support and a really snug fit.

@@oneLuvbardock they are smaller and if you have big hands may be uncomfortable, but they are meant for adults.

I think this was a large, I do have a medium as well, I can wear wraps in both and still feel comfortable. If you have smaller hands I would size down.

Not sure what’s not true. Also this review has the older shg-210 with the suede like forehead on the inside, phenom has since done away with this. Owned winning, fly, phenom headgear and have sparred in them as well as made a living buying and selling gear nationwide. I know what I’m talking about.

@@BOXUPNATION well I speak from my experience. I have bought both head guard. And the new/ lastest model that I bought few months ago siips like hell. Specially after the second round when you sweat alot. I bought both model witin a year.

Most ppl size up atleast a half size from their normal shoe size.

We no longer stock them. He still owes me for undelivered orders going back past a year.

@@BOXUPNATION they didn’t mention the size for the 8oz claim. I’m interested to see a S/M on a scale. 30% weight gain S/M -> L/XL seems like a lot.

Taking a bold leap with a brand-new look and style- they absolutely nailed it. I'm sold! I truly hope this headgear shines because if it falters, the industry will just keep imitating the winner fg2900. I was getting tired of seeing the same old thing from brands, to be honest.

@@AaronStanley-r1k I agree, the look isn’t for everyone, but I like how they did their own thing and are using university backed studies to improve the product. I would like to see the data when it’s out, but the fact that no other brand has done this is crazy to me.

@@Thedetailcartel I can only show what was given to me, didn’t trash the brand, but pointed out things that could be better (other people have had similar issues), still think they’re a good glove with room for improvement. Appreciate the feedback nevertheless

Two different types of gloves imo

I would say so, you could also try loosening them up like some ppl do gloves. Boxing shoes generally run narrow and most ppl size up normally. The tricky thing is Everlast doesn’t make half sizes, so sizing up a full size maybe not be feasible.

@@BOXUPNATION Yeah, I've tried the one with 1 size bigger, but that felt only longer, not wider. so hopefully it will adjust a bit on the sides, as the length is perfect.

@@daanyaal815 For me it fits perfectly now. So if you feel it a bit tight at the beginning ,do not worry. If the length is good. the width will be as well. It's a great shoe, hope it will work out for you as well!
