There are many bridges like this scattered around the country. I am always baffled why they don't just dig the road down another foot or so. It wouldn't even be that difficult.

It’s always because they speed through the yellow or red! If they took the time to stop, they might also take the time to realize their truck is over-height and the sign is in fact referring to them.

Ok but all jokes aside it's really dangerous to be that close to the bridge when some idiot smashes his truck up. You definitely don't want to end up with a chunk of metal embedded in your face as it's shredded off by the crash beam.

This would be soo easy to fix . just lower the street and the utilities and install self actuated pumps to remove excess water buildup . i'm guessing it's a money thing where the city and the tax payers don't want to pat to have an upgrade done .

The way you can hear the truck rev when the light turned yellow except it only changes when it detects an oversized truck with the hopes people slow down and realize they won't fit
