Ben Croft vs Woody Clouse in IRT MILWAUKEE
I noticed that Rubin switched hands for his racquet. I did not know he could do this and I did not know this was not against the rules.
So fucking crisp
One of the best matches ever by two of the highest class players to swing on the courts... the hell with Kane... this is where it's at.
Should have kept the ball and courts this fast
If those guys took 5 percent off their shots, they'd win a lot more points and have shorter rallies. Surprised at how few outright kill shots there are off of easy and back wall setups.
I started playing in 1977. Marty was the phenom of the day. Got a job at a local club and got pretty good, but never anything like these guys. I became a bottom-level A player. But my club had a ton of talent and the top A players would kick my ass. I stopped playing for about 15 years then took it back up. I still had an old Voit something or other....Impact One??? Everyone was swinging huge eForce-style racquets. I was getting beat by guys that I should have dispatched easily. Then one night I broke my racquet string and got a loaner from the front desk. It was a yellow eForce - I can't remember the model. I realized an immediate and profound change in my game and I fell in love with it all over again. I played a lot and hard for about 15 years. I beat most but not all the guys at my club. Then, I got beat more and more. ;) The youngsters were much faster than I ever was. I used to marvel at their games. Now I'm 64 and have bad knees and weak ankles. I blew out my right elbow a decade ago. Sadly, I no longer play. I think I could still play squash but there are no courts anywhere near me. Man, I miss being a young buck!!
If you study Sudsy's backhand and practice it you get pretty good results I love watching Sudsy
Moscoso would laugh at this
Great video. How high is the back wall ? i thought it was suppose to be 20 feet high. Looks shorter than 20 feet high
How high is the back wall ? Can you use the total height of the back wall ?
great video. Back wall looks low, thought it was supposed to be 20 feet high
When I first started in mid 70's a real hard hitter hit a z on a sharp angle, that just cracked over the short line and hit the wall before the infringement line and stayed inside the infringement line, very low. Real hard serve to catch up with.
Swain such a coward.. Good thing kane made you kiss his ass
Youth over wisdom in sports- Youth normally wins.
Marty Hogan and Ruben Gonzalez in that order. They both could still deliver at 40+ years old.
JESUS CHRIST IS COMING BACK PEOPLE REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR TODAY NOT TOMORROW PEOPLE WHICH IS PROMISED TO NOONE AT ALL
Why the goofy music?
I played Woody once. He beat me 11-0.
For any doubters in eterntiy, imagine everyone playing challenge court in their prime, forever. I can. The best is yet to come.
Whole match anywhere?
Información Correcta
Woody battled against the best that there was in his years on the pro tour.
Sudsy may be a bit more well known, but Ellis pound for pound, or even not, could hit a ball as hard as anyone.
Yep - whaled on the ball.
Yes but if it's 18 inches off the floor when it could be 6, what good is it? I am amazed at how many back wall set ups these guys leave their opponents.
Over hitting at its finest! Rare to see pros play like this, Love it!
1:00 That's way worse than getting hit by the ball! Yikes
Neither one of these guys is Waselenchuk.
Kane is the one in the E-Force shirt
Great preview but let's get the whole match up!
The lack of today’s pros “pre serve rituals” really kept the game’s momentum up
I can't stand that crap. Thank you for pointing that out.
Most match interviews were Legit
Suds can really turn on that forehand as well
3:31 WTF
Mannino always matched up well against power players like Roberts. It's the athletic guys who had good all around games like Sudsy, Cliff, Ellis & Kane he struggled against.
Love it...the ball sounds like it's screaming 200mph on these courts. Please post the entire match
Jason Mannino has got to go down as one of the most captivating RB players of all time.
Mike green was a very fierce competitor
Jason mannino is the king of not beating himself
What's with the video-game music?
3:30 lol, dancers at RB?
Probably my favorite match ever, cliff was ON
1) Cliff is an all time great at the sport. This shot wasn't very. Cliff contacted the ball quite high above Ellis and he hit a simple pass to win the rally. You better believe if he skipped that ball it would not have been a penalty hinder as he took his full shot. 2) This shot isn't that difficult especially at the pro level. They could hit an apple off your forehead. Watch Ben Croft hitting down the lines testing his "MPH" in racquetball warehouse vids. His camerman is within inches of being hit every time.
Michelle would have them for a snack. I think she was the best I saw play.
At 102 the ball by swain skipped!!!!!!
REALLY !!! Who serves starting with a knee on the floor ??
Wish we had the whole matxh
Telling CLIFF SWAIN, “YOU’RE LUCKY”, at end of game1! Stupid but, AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT! THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF SUPREME CONFIDENCE! Real racquetball, not the shite you see at the local recreational facility BUT, REAL RACQUETBALL, AMAZING!💯
Wish HD was invented back then...so many great splats and shots in general! Just to fast to see with old technology! Curse you old technology👎🤣!!
Neither one would beat Michelle Gould
plain and simple..........rball players are massive cock-suckers. not once in this clip does Cliff show an ounce of concern for Ellis. Take the shot if you want to, make the shot and be proud. But could you then check with the player to see if he is okay? it's assholes like Cliff and Kane and many many others, that have caused this sport to lose and incredible amount of interest over the last decade!
Hogan is working that ass out
He was 40 years old at the time that may have had something to do with it
Was this before or after his crackhead years?
