The compounds powerlifters use for meets are generally fast in fast out none estered highly androgenic compounds and they are helishly toxic!
I can relate to what he is saying about getting older and his strength failing at 5.6 i peaked at 200kg 200kg is not earth shattering by any means however take into account my testosterone levels where in the 200s i had to fight like xxxx for that 200kg! Hypogonadism and powerlifting are not a good combination.

First chap I heard speaking openly. I tried that years ago when IPF ruined the sport in SA but nobody wanted to listen. We tried to keep it together but to no avail. So I decided to move to strongman. Good to hear you and Arno made peace. I heard about it. Bless your soul Dan.
Thanks brother, much appreciated. My goal is not to cause division between any Feds but rather to join together in raising the standard of the sport and lifters in RSA. I am also working with Hannie Smit to bring SAPF lifting at High School level up. Appreciate your input and God Bless you too my man.

It's amazing to me that anyone could ever accuse her of steroid use or anything of that ilk. I have followed her for most of her career and have seen nothing but hard work, dedication, and an amazingly awesome attitude.
Gracie embodies the Westside Barbell attitude and lifestyle. She was an absolute beast! Loved watching her perform. The people who gave her shit for being a hardass just don't get it. That's how she was trained and what made her great!
