Looking good!
Do you like the JD 4630 as a loader tractor? Moving round bales, loading manure, plowing snow ect? Thank you!🇺🇸
We have 2 4630, both have JD 158 loaders, duals, and both are 8 speed power shift. They are heavier built than a 4430, heavier 3 point, heavier front axle, heavier differential, and cheaper than a 4430 where I live. They are a Awsome tractor, grandpa has had his for over 20 years. The only down side with the 4630 is the 1000 only PTO. We use our 4630 for disking, baling, moving bales/wrapping bales, feeding cows, and grain cart. Best upgrades is to covert to 2 12 volt batteries instead of 2 6 volts, and there’s a fan upgrade kit from Deere that helps when you work them hard. The 404 is pretty cranked up from the factory, you’ll get use to lots of black smoke, and when you work them, they can be fuel hogs. The power shift is kinda clumsy with the loader, I would take a syncro over a power shift for strictly loader work. The quad is a in between, but I’m not a fan of the quad. range. Great tractor, lots of power, and reasonable priced where I’m at (15 to 20k) I hope this helps
Does that ever get cold or hot without a cab?
@@Sperlfarming-hz7nz it’s nice in the summer time to not have a cab, as all of our cab tractors have no AC, so the cab just restricts air flow, and the windows are all open so it’s just as dusty as not having a cab. The wintertime is especially cold without a cab.
💚✅💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Sounds so nice
Beautiful
Im going to be raking tomorrow...any tips on a 5 wheel rake technique?
5 wheel rakes are one of the easiest rakes to operate in my experience. Where we farm, we usually do three passes into one windrow. my biggest piece of advice would be that when you turn, they don't seem to work as well so I just drive as straight as I can.
Thank you this helps.
WOW
I see your AC works like mine does 😅
The ole sound guard cab ac is windows popped open with a nice breeze outside
@@Dakotadairyfarm and hopefully not to much dust
Hell yeah she’s getting after it
Heck yeah!
Is that tractor cold-blooded pig?
Best starting tractor grandpa has, starts better than our 4430,and 4630.
Die trekken nog wel een opknapbeurt hebben
That baby is getting after it, has some smoke rings in there
Don’t see much of these! Nice tractor man
Great grandpa bought brand new In 1973.
@@Dakotadairyfarm that’s so cool man, we’ve had our case 970 since 78’ after it was couple years old. And we have some other tractors. But there’s also a John Deere 70 that my great grandpa bought brand new in 57’, hasn’t ran since the 70’s that I wanna work on with my uncle at some point
Runs like a deere! LOL
Good video young man. Thanks for your time
I had a 560 diesel back in the 70's
You need a light that son of a gun up like a Christmas tree get some super bright LED spotlights that are 30,000 lumens all the way around the cab light it up
Thank you for what you and your family does
Thank you, Have a good day.
👽✡️
They cold start so good man I have a 1999 😊😊
I got a 92 I love that beast
Gotta love the old fords, specially the diesel flavor.
Sounds purrfect.
Man that is a muddy mess!
Indeed it is, recently it’s been freezing and unfreezing which makes it a total loss.
Mud city
Yep it’s a mess, always happens to our feedlot when we get freezing\unfreezing every day.
That I one heck of a bin extension
It’s very large, holds about 200 bushel, have to drive very slow when full 😂
Is that organic corn? The yield looks a little low, we had a dry year too.
Sadly not organic, if you look in the back there is tree piles from the shelter belt we took out (not our choice, landowner decided it was time), so we didn’t get it planted til june 15
Ole C60 still hauling!
Opppps looks like might have spilled some at the truck.....
It bounces off the metal poles in the truck for the tarp and makes a mess every time . Very annoying
Merry Christmas!!!! Folks on dairy farms never get a day off!
Merry Christmas, happy new year thanks !
That is a work horse!!
Indeed she is, dose our tillage, baleing, feeding, and plenty of other stuff also.
Still working at over 45 years old....... Bet the new ones won't.
Ole 30 series John Deere don’t die, our 4630 goes to work every day and never gives us trouble, same with our 4030 also.
Hay ain't selling to good this year weather staying to nice. Needs to drop 3 foot of snow an stick around.
We sold ours as soon as it was rolled up luckily.
@@Dakotadairyfarm good for yal!!

Thanks
I’ve got a 74 c60, can’t keep an old grain truck down brother ✊
Tough old trucks, also got a 68 f600 that’s hanging in there. Still would like to save up for a diesel.
Hell yea
What's wrong with the chopper?
Back axle of the combine broke years before and crushed it so it was wrecked, here in the last couple weeks we took it off.
@@Dakotadairyfarm the rest of the combine seems to have survived quite well. Happy harvest. Thanks for the reply.
Ngl i thought you were in a plane till i saw the wheel and the steering wheel
