A photocard is basically a picture in a card that comes in most k-pop albums. Usually the pictures are of each member of the group so people collect those pictures (some choose to collect all the cards for all members of a group, others choose to collect one person specifically). Limited edition albums, old albums or albums that are no longer printed can make photocards rarer to find therefore increasing their price if people were to sell them, so people tend to want to protect their collections using sleeves and usually storing them into binders.

yea I have a couple of sports cards that I use the 63.5 mm sleeves for. It’s a really tight fit bit I prefer them over the regular Ultra Pro penny sleeves. This imgur link shows comparisons between the sleeves and how they fit. For my cards they do happen to fit in the 63mm Dragon Shield Sleeves so I don’t know if your cards could be bigger than mine. imgur.com/gallery/bRExdRG

@@hencewurth Appreciate the pictures looks like the dragonshield regulars have just a bit more room in them. Do they fit into the 9 pocket pages without wrinkling? The mayday seemed like it was already a tight fit in your video without much room to spare (in the pages).

@@allnovieveryday hii, I use before dragon shield clear classic standard and (green/purple) mayday premiums. They(Dragon shield/Green mayday) fit perfectly with ultrapro 9-pockets. No wrinkles or anything, plus, they are quite sturdy. But, generally, dragon shield does not move in 9-pockets. While green maydays, paired with purple, still move my cards a bit if you shake the 9-pockets. Also, the size between green mayday and dragon shield is about the same, not much difference.

the purple mayday sleeve will kinda wiggle around the platinum 9 pocket pages since it’s small. yes the purple one is thick too but just make sure to buy the “premium” one since they do offer a standard one which isn’t thick

@@hencewurth can u recommend me some thick sleeves for the platinum 9 pockets everyone recommends me the dragon shield but it’s so expensive 😭

​@@tixxi10 the thickest ones are for sure dragon shield and the quality is insane. I have a few of them and love them. The price is insane though so I don't buy many of them. Honestly any sleeve works just as fine regardless if it's thick or not! The mayday games ones are great from experience and I think a lot of people use "Sleeve Kings" which is a sister company of Mayday Games. There's also the ultra pro ones which are more known but the sizes are a bit big for photocards so they're not my style. If you truly want a thick sleeve then the best bet is the dragon shield sleeves, and the second best option would be the mayday ones(premium version). Since the dragon shield ones are expensive I would go for the mayday ones. The green mayday sleeves fit perfectly into the platinum 9 pocket sleeves without a double sleeve. They don't fit those really tiny collectbooks however so keep that in mind if you have one. Regular binders are perfect!

@@hencewurth ah okay perfect tysm I think I’ll get the green mayday then for my 9 pockets I only store my pcs in an a4 binder anyways so I think it will work out :D

the 63x88mm sleeve(green) fits the circle cards. The purple ones do not fit at all so avoid those for circle cards.

any sort of sleeve no matter the brand or material is gonna protect the photocard compared to not having one at all. You can totally use less thicker sleeves or any sort of combination for your photocards it’s all a preference that will do the exact same

it’s not required at all but it just protects the photocards from scratches or damage overtime. A lot of people sleeve them because they spend a lot of money and don’t want their cards ruined.

Because the ones I have right now are waay too big and sometimes my photocards fall out :(

Ultra Pro Platinum Series 9 Pocket Pages

yea you're right it does make the pcs look less clear compared to just having it without a sleeve. I personally like to receive my pcs from trades/sells without any damage/scratches so I try to do the same for other people by double-sleeving my pcs so they also receive their pcs in great condition. Imagine how many times you handle a pc without a sleeve or have it on some surface that's how scratches are made so that's why I sleeve every pc

they were too big for me but on their website it mentions that it should fit the 9 pocket pages but it really doesn't. Either the standard ultra pro sleeves that I have are too big or it's false advertising. You can use those extra Ultra Pro sleeves for future trades/sales so you technically wouldn't be wasting it!!

Don't get the ultra pro, I got it bc of the many reviews it had on Amazon and the price was decent. But recently, after 6 months, I pulled out my photocards from their albums to trade with someone and all the sleeves have warped and wrinkled even when they were never out and they were double sleeved with a toploader.

yea I wanted to do the same thing but it sucks. Those small tiny collect books are a good alternative but some are too small for sleeved photocards so you just have to insert them without sleeves.

Assuming you downloaded the 1.16 version of this pack, it should work. I followed it step by step and it worked perfectly.

nope the bigger sleeve will not move in the binder since it's a perfect fit for the 9 pocket page. Some pocket pages are different however but the Ultra Pro ones that I use fit perfectly with the bigger sleeves. Plus the pc will only really move when you shake the binder, since the binder just sits in one place then there's not much to worry about!

I checked out the Dragon Shield sleeves and the japanese sizes all come in 59x86mm. Based off their website they do not have a size similar to the Mayday games size of 56x87mm. I’m assuming the sleeve is gonna be small as well but won’t have that tight fit like the Mayday games one.

yea so many pcs come in different sizes and I only have NCT pcs so I couldn't really compare other pcs for the sleeves. That's why it's a good thing to measure the photocards first before buying. And it's a good thing mayday games has different sizes too which is why I like them

how do twice pcs fit in the mayday game sleeves 56×87mm?? cause i just got these sleeves and on hand they look kinda small to me idk maybe im just delusional but pls tell me! cause rn i cant put my twice pcs inside the sleeves to test it so pls tell me how they fit!

@@groklet if you put Twice album pcs on 56x87mm, there's about 1.5mm space on each side. The PCs slides in easily. For the POB, I use 59x92mm.

@@kaye.b yeah i just tried to fit the pob ones and its tooooooo tight its impossible to fit them on 56*87 so i will need to get bigger sleeves, ty for the info tho!

any sleeve is perfect for trading it honestly doesn't matter lol. I usually use the least expensive ultra pro sleeves for trading/selling since I don't end up keeping them
