Thanks! I’m happy to have a place for my tomatoes :) the bed will be in a temporary spot for now, until we finish the patio work . It’s starting to come together slowly but surely.

@@luckycatcreations thank you for answering! I like to recycle what I can for the garden, I just hope they will last a few years , I live in arizona and it's very hot here in summer, I even found an old rocken horse and I have that it tied to the front yard fence,,

I love it!! 😍 I don’t think anything lasts super long in Arizona because of our extremely hot summers…but I should think you will get at least a few years out of it! Yes it was a lot of work, but the kids loved seeing it come together! I will have to post an update on the plants…we’ve gotten quite a bit of rain and they are thriving! 🌿

Thank you for your comment! I’m so thankful to have a sturdy shade structure for our very hot Arizona summers, we got it up last summer just in time!

Actually they are 3 x 8’ and I LOVE the height! We built them out of (Kiln) Doug Fur Wood and added hardware cloth to the underside to keep pests (mostly gophers) out.

Thank you so much for your comment! Yes, I am located in 9b Gilbert AZ. I sprayed my tomato plant and roots with Neem oil to prevent any pests and keep the plant healthy. I hope to post an update in the future and plant more tomato plants this spring. Good luck with your garden!🍀

I know! They are such beautiful plants, I’m hoping my efforts will be successful. I was hopeful that the Arizona winter would be mild enough that they would survive no problem, but didn’t realize just how sensitive they were to the freezing temps. 🥶
