Nice car but dumb you can't just plug it into any USB outlet. It is 2025 JMBricklayer, I'm a retro kind of guy and even I think that's dated for light technology heh.

Love the Lancia Delta and as a scale model builder i think they've caught the look very well. The front in particular looks pretty much perfect. Nice review Jang, keep bringing us this interesting content.

Oh, this is cute! I actually love the size of this, and it reminds me of my 1986 Mazda 323 - a car I would love a small model of like this. 80s hatchbacks - definitely have a soft spot for! Thanks for introducing me to this scale! I'll see what Amazon has....

That's a nice buildable car. I only think of Cobi through their jets of which I now have three (and will get more), but this is a nice car. I also like the size. Only thing I like less is that it's not really minifig compatable. That can probably be changed making it a definite consideration for my tiny village.

Seems like a perfectly good value and a quality product. I'm tempted, but ultimately, I will pass. What holds me back is the lack of interior detail, and I find the overall design, while nice, is not really interesting or complex. It's really just a massive, basic ship. I also think the prints on the sails are very uninspired and bordering on ugly. I don't like the bright blue used throughout the set, either. This would be awesome for playing with alongside childen.

I'm very much on board with this kind of model and set, right up until I heard the price; $20 for this is definitely far too much compared to what else is out there which are all drastically larger or cheaper, or even both. It's £16 where I am and that's also still too much; it also will not get discounted as sets from brands like COBI and CaDA are often incredibly limited by being sold by just one or two retailers who barely discount them in the first place, if at all.

I really like the cobi cars in 1:35. they suit my city so well. especially the disliked corner garage.

Cool build, I only wish this was Victorian/Edwardian to match the Sherlock Holmes Baker Street apartment!

My gripe with this model is something that I haven't seen mentioned here before. It's supposed to be an HF Integrale, but it's missing the element that differentiates it most from the regular HF, and more importantly, the regular Delta: the wide body. It might seem nitpicky, but I can't look at it the same way, to be honest. The fact that it heavily uses specialized pieces makes it less justifiable, in my eyes. Like this, it's more like a regular HF but with the front bumper and the spoiler of the Integrale slapped on and a half-done Martini Racing livery.

What a cute little model car!

As usual with Cobi, the end result looks more like a scale model than a brick built toy, at first glance. Very nice, all it needs is a Lancia Stratos and a Toyota Celica GT4 as companion pieces for that old Rally vibe. 😁

Are these bricks compatible with LEGO?

thank you for this review! I really appreciate that you will look at other brick manufacturers and not be a strict purist... I have gotten some hate over my buying alternative compatible brick sets. I currently have a Reobrix (sp?) Pirates bay set sitting awaiting building, but am very aware that there is zero interior or other details to it... so it will have to be fleshed out by my own imagination and figs

I could not care less that it is based on a Lego design, especially one that has been out of circulation for a decade. It’s an impressive model, one that clearly has lots of effort put into.

Unless you like to put minifigs inside the car, how many specialised pieces would be needed to convince you that this is more like a model kit that happens to be brick-built instead of a Lego competitor?

Insane value on this one. For any ship fans, I feel like it's a must own, then you can customize the deck yourself.

The white printing is (at least) better than the LEGO printed white (grey).

That's a great car design done in brick form. LEGO doesn't do this type of race car very often. Booo at the stickers over multiple parts. Unfortunate about the canopy sticker. Also that they didn't just print it, since that's a compound curve on the tapering portion.

Looks great with the fig that thing. Way better than the giant Lego cars. The only thing I think doesn't look that great is the rooftop of the car itself. It kind of looks as if there's a stair on top of the windscreen. Other than that, very cool set.

Nice, I didn't know about this Lancia vehicle. That could be Transformers' Wheeljack's brother or sister haha. Hmm seems to be cheating quite a bit with those pieces for the front and back. Still a cool car though.

I enjoy this new channel a lot. That gray coloured cockpit is REALLY bad. It actually kind of ruins the entire build because it is so prominent. They shouldn't ship it out in that state.

All round realistic proportions and detail except for that... roof. And that for me is a massive fail. Either go the full 9 yards, or don't.

Cobi has released a lot of classic Polish and German cars from behind the Iron Curtain in their "Youngtimer" line, same scale. I have over a dozen :)

Not my cup of tea, but I do love Cobi's military vehicles, whether 1:35 or 1:28. Pricing on Cobi products in the US has unfortunately risen over the last few years, but their selection and quality are generally excellent.

Can the hair pieces be used on LEGO figures?

I dont like this because all the pieces they use to get the shape right are special molds, That makes it a bit too easy and completely ruins the building experience for me.

I want to buy some of those blocks with wire channels in them. Do they have packs of them?

I hate 1/35 scale because you really can't use figures in it. It looks pretty good but just doesn't work for figures. 1/28 is better in my opinion.

i dont mind that it is small, but with so specialized pieces i dont really see the point. would rather have a more intricate buildable model or just a different realistic model kit for this scale. i dont think brick buildable is the way to go with this.

1/35 is a weird scale popularized by Tamiya based on their old RC tanks. It became the defacto scale for AFV plastic models. It's certainly interesting to see it for a car!

I collect hot wheels, so I'm automatically endeared to smaller cars. This looks like a lot of fun for its size and I like how it works as pseudo minifig scale in a display.

Oh i think that's lovely. The angles of 80's cars play beautifully into a brick building system.
