Problem is being in division 2 forever. Division 1 was for "flagship" products aka main artists and groups. Division 2 was for rookies. Got 7 was in division 2 for 7 years despite being JYPs main 3th gen boygroup around that time. And division 2s attention went to real rookies like straykids and itzy.

Everyone who says that current idols only do 2-3 dances and take a break. All idols trained this way during their trainee days. They all talk about it and understand that it's part of the process to be on top

TOP struggles with several issues and he has always been open about those. Despite that he has to give an explanation about petty issues that happened years ago. This is just sad and no one deserves this treatment

Got7 is my first idol group love💚. The members are uniquely colored. The negotiation with jype to be independent is truly unprecedented among 2nd and 3rd gen idol groups. It spoke volume on members’ talent and ability to carry on a group without big 3 management companies. It also spoke volume on jype to be gracious to part ways without acrimony. The guys can be successful on their own individual path. However together they shine like a diamond mine and worth a gold mine.

I think it’s because no group can pull a got7 so far. Leaving a company that created a group and let them kept the group name, and official social media accounts, free to use any previous songs they’ve released before. Everything was smoothly transferred legally to the boys. It’s iconic because so far they are the only one, and any idol would love to have that treatment from their current or previous companies. To be fair, JYPE had always been treating god rain wonder girls and 2am the same way. They don’t really have to worry about anything when using their names or songs but it wasn’t done legally, Jype just let them use it, sure if you used it public event you will have to pay for the rights but many groups cannot sing their old songs at all just because the companies doesn’t allow it, just like how Taylor swift was treated until she can re record her songs again. I’m so happy for the boys and seeing them together and having fun again makes me so happy ❤

why is it iconic? that term is so overused, if, everything is iconic than basically nothing is special or iconic. try another adjective for a change

He was diagnosed as having bipolar disorder a long time ago, plus the trauma from the scandal led to his controversion. Only those who follow him since day 1 understand why he did it. He was extremely depressed and attempted to commit suicide after the incident. He really should be forgiven for what he had gone through.
