Additive manufacturing of 3D printer _ Finite element simulation with Abaqus _ SimpliFy - Modeling with catia
Fatigue test - Crack growth
During the fatigue test, a crack, which was probably caused by the manufacturing process, became visible and grew, but due to the 3D Fried printer, which is a layered process, the growth of the crack slows down, and only with a very small thickness, the test continued for about 28,300 cycles.

Designing a fatigue test sample and simulating a 3D print (FDM) and printing it with polylactic acid (PLA) materials and fatigue testing it with a force of 5 kg (life around 2400 cycles) and a force of 1 kg (life around 33300 cycle) Polymer fatigue test

We produce the designed honeycomb structure by FDM the PLA filament and we FORCE recovery and SHAPE recovery tests and pressure test and also perform pressure test with Abaqus.

We put a porous structure with high density under compressive load and then check it with two types of meshing (normal element and hybrid element with one more degree of freedom). The material of this piece, which was created by a 3D printer, is PLA = polylactic acid. ask me: abolfazl.to.76@gmail.com
How did you know what contact interaction types to use? i.e, how you decided between tie and interaction?
thanks friend
