Thank you for sharing from my hometown i grew up in since i was six years old. My two Metis Coast Salish brothers learned how to carve at 8,9 years old on 407 Bute Street,by elders that carved in our apt building. He sold many of his pieces at Whistler Mountain on consignment. Sadly Cliff passed away April 23,he was thankful to these elders as he fractured his ankle skiing Mt Washington in 1980,that he had the experience carving to fall back on for his lively hood. Thanks to Judith Sayers for gifting the new President of the University of Victoria, the Talking Stick at V.V.I. One month previous my cousin Myrna Elliott gifted Mr Kevin Hall her Homemade Blanket at the University of Victoria. This was in collaboration of both Universities working on truth and Reconciliation.

You remind me of my dear friend, George David who was also very talented.
