Beach Rats - The Growlers ( guitar cover )

A lot has happened since the last guitar cover, but since then I have bought a new guitar which you can see in the video. It's an old 1970s hollow japanese build guitar. I have got a light gauge 9s strings on and it sounds decent overall but I might have to sell it, the strings are too light for me and I can't put any heavier strings on because of the neck.
Rathbone No.7 Orchestra Model ~ All Solid Acoustic guitar ~ DEMO

This is a very capable all solid OM size guitar from Rathbone. It has a solid sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. The nut width is just perfect for me and the size suits me really well. I really love this guitar. I currently have John Pearse 80/20 custom light 11-50 and the guitars just loves them! This was recorded with the Behringer C1 mic and Behringer UMC202HD interface. #Ra...

We were stuck in an Italian restaurant for a bit, the rain did not stop by late hours so we've decided that we need to go. The day after that was reall...

Lovely . Does someone live there ,??
Hey man, i remember when you recommended me this song to play! But your cover sounds real good!! I’ve been busy but im thinking of doing in between when i get a chance
Heeeya yesss it’s still a great song to play haha. Give it a go. You have to find the chords and then play the highest notes from that chord.
@ yeah, i saw that kyle plays the chords, while matt plays slide guitar which i havent figured out what hes doing yet, but its really interesting
@ I think that Kyle playes the organ/keyboard and Matt does the guitar. It’s in their recording from the warehouse
Charming
Dapatkah SR12 melakuan setting tanpa menggunakan touchscreen (jika touchscreen bermasalah), dan jika digunakan buat live streaming ke PC bagaimana hasil dan juga pengaturan yang diperlukan?
Outlast Camera vs Not outlast camera. I think the outlast camera is better, because it’s durable as crap
Please explain yourself sir
@@girmonsproductions he means the horror game outlast lol you played the whole game with a camcorder
🐦Beautiful! It makes my heart sing 😁💓
Built by the indigenous poor now owned by the rich
I love it . The cottage has so much charm.
This house is so beautiful ❤
Old is new again. Watch it..
Wasnt this cottage in an episode of the detective show Vera? Love.
Looks a lot like the cottage in the movie The Holiday with Kate Winslet, which I adored.
dorset is the best county in the uk. the sea is greenish blue clear water fantastic. the countryside is is full of wild flowers in spring
Oh that cottage is just enchanting💚
Somewhat primitive, medieval and massively overpriced compared to rationally managed countries. One expects the Black Death to break out at any moment.
Your only neighbours are the birds and wildlife, bliss in England 😊
Has it been abandoned??
just looking like a wow ❤
What a lovely cottage. So peaceful and uncomplicated. xxx
How charming and perfectly private
Sounding good, mate!
Thanks so much Dan! Hope you’re doing well!!
This feels extremely nostalgic because of the camera used for recording this, I like it!
I love it!
Lots of work and money to invest in. Need a compleet renovation. Think twice bevore and don,t fall in love with it.
From the look of it, you'd need to sink at least 75k into it.
could you link me the tabs again if possible? the link in your bio doesn't work :(
tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/the-growlers/acid-rain-bass-1180729 try this one man, its pretty simple just check out the root notes from the song and should be able to play it. its pretty easy.
@@girmonsproductions found this pretty soon after coming across this video. thank you so much regardless though!

Brilliant video! Exactly what I was looking for, I'm going on a family holiday this year to Ibiza and wanna do the same thing, looking to buy a super8 camera, any tips or recommendations? thanks
Hey bud thanks so much! So I’ve got the sankyo xl 40 I think. Check the description for the exact model. My Auto zoom doesn’t work on it so I have to manually zoom, not an issue, I’ve paid £50 for it about 5 years ago. For the film I’ve used the Kodak 200T which worked pretty well with it, the camera has got an automatic orange filter in it so then the films becomes a 160ISO which is pretty good for the sunny Ibiza. And if you need to film in the evening or at night then you’ll have to accept some underexposed pictures. I would say also that try to combine some still compositions with some movement. But my style is that I prefer more still frames with the subject moving in there. And definitely hire a car when you’re there and explore the north side of the island. It’s less touristy and more hilly, really good beaches to see. I got a second video from Ibiza on my channel take a look if you want, it might give you an idea how awesome Ibiza is. All the best!
@@girmonsproductions thanks for the quick reply! I wanna do as you say with the still camera and moving objects, but mix it up a little, I've recently been really interested in vintage travel documentaries, and love the style. I'll look into the film etc like you mentioned. I have been to Ibiza before, but not on a family holiday for a long time, so should be an experience with a 1 year old! If i manage to get my hands on one of these i'll be over the moon. :) thanks again
Beautiful except for that weird modern art.
Hey man i got an sr7 and realized i cant export videos with the memory pro stick duo. did you use the handycam station to export your videos? I just wanna know if the handycam station is the only way to export vids. if not please let me know how you exported your clips because i dont want to buy a handycam station to access my videos on my computer.
Heya yes I got that little platform docking station that clips on the bottom of the camera. I haven’t tried an usb cable not sure if that will work. But I think you will need that docking station.
The ''exposed stone'' is ghastly and naf. Also wrong as in the past interior (and exterior unless they were cut or dressed ) walls would have always been plastered.
beautiful and timeless
PERFECTION
Сотни лет существует.
Musty, smelly, cold , dark and dreadful. Pay me to stay there
Only someone with no soul and romantic vision would think so, needs a loving hand to restore fully into a gorgeous country idyll.
Almost certainly thatched originally.
I absolutely love this Cottage. The Potencial is Great!!
A beauty inside and out. With some investment of money and time and hopes that original details, sink would stay....
Small but almost perfect
Lill Jam session...not bad at all : )
Ya man! Cheers! I’ve got a few more videos coming from the jams. Sometimes we’d jam for 20 mins haah
This is full of potential, a beautiful cottage.
Hard to believe it's real. It's like it could only exist in a cozy English novel you read in bed before you go to sleep. But there it is in real life. My imagination couldn't come up with something so quaint and idyllic. But there it is in real life.
You have described it so well! It was even more magical when I was inside and just looking around. Very cool place indeed.
Not remotely unusual in England. 25% of the UK's housing stock is over 100 years old, and much of that way over 100. Most people will live in an old property at some point in their life. My sister lived for 25 years in a 1600s farmhouse. My late partner grew up in a 1700s cottage. My brother has lived for decades in a Georgian (c.1800) property. I've lived in Victorian and Edwardian houses.
@@clairenoon4070 Fascinating and thank you for your reply. I am a flaming American and like most Americans I am mystified and transfixed by architecture and culture that are hundreds of years old. Things that are everyday to you. When I went to Cologne Germany and saw an authentic Roman mosaic floor that was 2000 years old I was literally spellbound. When I finally took a deep breath of air two hours of time had passed.
@@NelsonClick I grew up in a village. Our nearest city was Chester, 7 miles away. Chester was an important Roman city - 'Deva Victrix'. It has many Roman remains, including an almost complete circuit of city walls and an amphitheatre. That said; our village had older again remains - those of an Iron Age (c.250 BC) hillfort. Chester also has many subsequent accretions, including medieval, Norman, Tudor/Elizabethan, Georgian, Victorian and beyond. One of my favourite pubs in Chester - The Bear and Billet - is a black-and-white timbered 1660s building.
did you film in 1080i on the sr12? if so, what methods did you use to deinterlace the footage?
on the SONY website they say this MOVIE QUALITY HD ; FH (1920x1080i, 16Mbps) / HQ (9Mbps) / SP (7Mbps) / LP (5Mbps) , SD ; HQ (9Mbps) / SP (6Mbps) / LP (3Mbps) so just wanted to check which quality I've used and I've used the FH 1920x1080i 16Mbps. So looks like that the camera shots only 60i you can't select a different frame rate. So in Premiere Pro I've exported it as 25p clip. That's all. Nothing else.
@@girmonsproductionsthanks! the image looks very clear in your video actually. when i export out in sony vegas it's a lot more murky. maybe vegas and premiere have different interpolation methods or something idk
@@zigfridsminets1872 that’s interesting, possibly yes. I’ve done no colour correction or Sharpening edit at all. the sr12 shoots nice video. Obviously it can’t be compared to the new mirror less cameras that shoot 400mbs data but on its own it looks lovely. The only thing that is stopping me using it more is the 40mm “wide” lens. Just not wide enough. I do have a wide adapter though that you can just un clip. I will actually shoot a proper video with it at some point. I have mainly been recording my band rehearsals, with the bigger battery and closed screen it can shoot for a loooong time. I think about 200 mins or maybe even 300 mins.
@@girmonsproductionsi think the camcorder has its own charm to it with the footage compared to more modern solutions. the wide adapter is a must have for the camera imo. i've read that since this camera ir hard drive based, the loudness and the sound vibrations from say, a concert can make the camera unable to record at that time. has anything like that happened to you?
@@zigfridsminets1872 on the Sr7 when I was using it on the rehearsal either the sensor or something else didn’t like the vibrations and the footage looks very blurry. At the beginning it would be fine but after a while it would get blurry. However the sr12 must have something upgraded because I was about 8ft from the drummer and that problem has never happened to me so far.
Loser
under exposed
Yes, I know.. it’s a Reversal film and the built in light meter is obviously not great
@@girmonsproductions That's why I love cameras the I can control it manual for this reason.
@@rothellecooke7425 well on that camera you can only control frames per second and aperture nothing else.
@@girmonsproductions That's all you need, I would try to open up the aperture a bit next time. I mostly keep a log on each shot of the subject and f-stop so I know what I did or need to fix. Still good job that you know the camera works. Keep shooting...
@@rothellecooke7425 yeaah this was just a test more or less. I’ve got a Bolex standard 8mm loaded to shoot. Hopefully that one will be better
