Hi, Juliana! I have a niece who is your namesake. Making this drawing was difficult for me because I was very emotional. Ayrton Senna is a great inspiration for me. It's hard not to remember that fateful 1st of May in 1994 in Imola, Italy. I was only nine years old, but I remember it well. It was common to watch Senna win several GPs. Here in Brazil, when a brazilian driver won, it played some very beautiful music. Sometimes, I woke up already listening to this music coming from the TV so I already knew that Senna had won one more time. And I put off doing this drawing a lot because I got emotional when I started. I was postponing and postponing and by an incredible coincidence, on March 21st, a thought came into my mind: it's today! For me, it was a message from God because it's Senna's birthday. The original idea was to make Senna in a racing driver's outfit, but I preferred to just make the face because I know I wouldn't last long with so much emotion. This drawing was made with the Dynamic Sketching technique, I didn't erase anything, it was the line and that was it, it didn't go back, I didn't give control + z and that made me do it faster. I am very happy to be able to pay homage to this great Brazilian idol who is admired in many places around the world. And I'm glad you liked the video. Best Regards.
