Very helpful rundown on this machine. I was raised in NH country (central PA), so I’ll add NH to my list of track loaders to compare. Looking forward to seeing future videos on the NH machines. Vids on the NH lineup - especially tractors - are hard to find.

Christian, thanks for putting this vid together. Hard to find TH-cam vids on NH products, especially compact tractors (big hint NH Tractor sales Team). Your vis let’s me do some comparison before showing up @ the dealership (for me, Mason, WI). Quick question: is the Midnite edition standard or an optional color. If option, what’s the MSRP for the Midnite Edition color (not the machine, just the extra charge for the color, if any). I grew up in NH country (central PA), so NH is on my short list for a track loader & large compact tractor (Boomer series, most likely). Thank for repping my fav brand. The Superboom is a game changer, IMHO, not a patented gimmick.

Thx for a practical comparison. A picture (or vid.) is worth a thousand words. I agree w/ you on the gimick Kubota door. Noisy + seems like it’ll end up being hot in summer & cold in winter (I’ll buy a cab to be comfortable & able to work longer…). Quick question on the 332 “midnite black”: does it cost more than standard yellow? As I prepare to buy a track loader, it looks like NH has upped their game in several aspects that are important to me. Thx for putting this vid together. Pls tell your tractor guys to get a video out on the Boomer series. Not much (if any) on TH-cam in the past year.

You’re obviously a salesman, not an operator, I have run both machines, the kubota is probably a better value considering all the specs. But it depends on your location dealer. And the service department in your area. All these machines are pretty amazing at what they do.

What use is a tug of war? Only a moron would find anything useful in one. It’s simple Mathematics. Also, I never buy anything that has a paint scheme as a selling point. Get your different color tractor. How childish.

Wouldn’t swap my Kubota posi tracks for anything…great after sales service…the door is amazing and the feel you have for the ground and your levels is the best in class

What's different about the midnight edition vs the standard yellow?

Bad test as it’s about weight plus traction as the new holland has the wider tracks and about 900lbs on the Kubota. I only like the lift height of the new holland granted I’m comparing the svl 75-3 not -2.

Put 17in camso tracks on the Kubota and make it fair.. nice biased opinion

for any person who works alone with a skid steer i find the door on the kubota one of the best assets the machine has.

New Holland messed up with that design they put the loader arms were you used to be able to take the motor panels off you motor acces the mid to late 80s was good for that but I like the caterpillar track 289 the jd are good the 1845 1840 was good machines the cat 289 good the first cat 246 was based off a old 743 or 843 bobcat models with hand controls. Looking at the skidloader design for small spots way get one that you can't

New Holland used to dominate in the 90’s and 2000’s. They’ve fell off big time. Wouldn’t even consider it. Deere, Kubota, Tacheuchi and CAT have the best machines now. Bobcat and Gehl fell off too in the last 10 years.

I want the whole damn setup. I have a new holland l230 and it is great and I will keep it when I upgrade, so I will have a wheel machine with hand/foot control and a track machine with hand controls. I also may pick up a new holland l228, 2018 model it has better emissions control systems than the previous years and a smaller machine would be nice to have around.

It looks cool....mine is just the standard colour unfortunately, but looks better than burnt orange or dirty yellow 😁 The one thing worth mentioning (and its not in the manual) is the ability to adjust the AUX hydraulic flow to the attachment. This ONLY works when the AUX flow is engaged, and when combined with engine RPM, you can adjust both the flow and pressure to the attachment. I learnt the hard way (blew a hydraulic motor on a flail mower), but generally 2000 rpm and 60% flow is the sweet spot for most small to medium flow implements. Cheers Brendon

Use High Octane non ethanol Fuel, Let it warm up before start & Stop driving and 95% of Time will be Low Gear to save Clutch. otherwise a feature loaded side by side My Wife can Drive, on Low Gear you have to place pressure on Lever and gently throttle with Brake Applied for UTV to engage Low Gear you will hear or feel a Small Clunk of it going into Gear, otherwise you are in High and Buckle Seat Belt is most common reason it wont go over 5mph

Case needs to redesign that front door. Visibility to bucket is terrible.
