Some comments to the track from me: 5:32min also the last round starts.... sorry.... a the track is a bit short ^^ 5:25min final part 4:59min beginning final part 4:26min small transition to the final part 3:56min the bassline is mean ^^.... 3:34min let the flow start..... 3:06min additional bassline and lead components.... 2:44min we begin to build something bigger.... 2:13min lets get the kick, bassline and percussions into it.... 1:43min everything is arrange a bit.... and bringing everything together...... 1:24min vocal chorus gets into it.... 0:56min percussions entering this time earlier.... also the first and second bassline joins.... 0:30min introducing the background atmosphere pad.... ^^ 0:01min it's a voice synth lead pad with many mutations.....

Some explantation: 8:31min last round and interesting part, it's a different vibe ^^ 7:44min ...hmm...this is not good enough.... we need more harmony.... ;) 6:56min now we have arrived.... ^^ 6:04min transition to the full harmonic sync...... 4:17min lets drop the bassb0mb..... 2:34min slow transition to full harmonic flow.... takes a bit 1:34min lets put some beat dynamic into it ^^.... 0:20min playing around..... both leads and voices are modified by a complex mutator arrangement (8 mutations per device, 3x in whole)....

Some jump points/comments ^^ : 5:57min harmonic flow groove ^^ 6:35min transition to the final part, also a bassline/effect change will coming up.... different sync.... 7:22min final part..... 8:38min everything is in the sync flow ... ^^ 9:02min last round :)

This are my soundcloud comments from the track, it's a try to migrate them to this plattform. 8:04min - last round ;) 7:27min - final part.... 6:59min - ...get into the flow.... ^^ 6:38min - perfect harmony..... 5:59min - this is not a disharmonic, it's a transition to the final part..... changing a bit.... 5:01min - two basslines running a race with the percussions.... the synths are watching in the background and yelling ^^ 3:36min - ....and now we going massive with the bass and synth sync..... 2:39min - and it gets bigger ^^ 2:17min - here you can hear all the elements till now in sync together..... 1:43min - we can do it better, also introducing the second bassline which gives the track a different kind of groove.... 0:29min - early drum & bassline start.... necessary for building the rest

the beginning is to build the atmosphere.... including part of the bassline.... in this case as effect in the first 1:55min .... then it gets more complex from bassline, pads, leads, effects, drumkit....

Just heard this one on your Soundcloud. Great example of progressive ambient!

Great pace to this, and the instrumentation choices feel so right. The occasional sudden louder tone offers great "punctuation" to the piece. The staccato bass melodies give so much dynamism ... almost like we're trotting along a sedate but very interesting pathway.

Well, you know how much I'd have to love your choices of instrumentation, with those shimmering, icy metallic, bell-like resonances. I love melodies like those that begin the track, before the nice builds just before the 2-minute mark. Love the transition around mid-way through, when the bass line brings in a darker feel before the shiny higher melodies take control again. Another charming little transition moment around the 5-minute mark. Easily a new favorite from the OhrTacK sonic universe! Wish I had my fog machine going as I listened -- this is music to be accompanied by a fog machine. 🙂

Do I hear a clock-like ticking? 😜 The bad thing about slowly building tracks and the music getting interesting 3+ minutes into the proceedings is that internet users (who have seemingly shorter and shorter attention spans) never make it that far. But maybe they will slide forward to where you hinted, at least.

I've done that, too ... worked on a project all night until sunrise, not willing to stop until it was finished, no matter how tired I felt.

I like how subtle the melody line is, how it is integrated into the ambience.
