    The state has done a terrible job so far. Especially bad since the crackdown on shops. Prices are insane in the few shops left and the opt out has left whole counties like Nassau and Suffolk behind. $50 an eighth at Curaleaf, ridiculous. Those prices insure the illegal sellers will stay in business. Nothing but hot air in these interviews.

    I truly believe that this was the plan all along. They wanted her to be the nominee, but they knew she was incapable of earning the nomination because she has not really earned anything in her career. Never won a primary, this is how she’s going to be appointed President. The only thing she has done is to make alliances with fellow marxists. She can’t be trusted(by the common citizen), she will make sure our country gets destroyed

    Who is going to put their investment into New York City after what they did to Trump? Also if you put in a bunch of protections for tenants it just going to tell the landlords that it’s not worth their time as they might have to give up space that could make them money to someone for free. This is the problem with Democrats, they always think protecting the tenants is more important than protecting the landlords investment.

    You sure nailed the 'excessive zoning' correctly and that's certainly part of a problem, and that problem is simply government and only government is the root cause of 'all' housing issues...

  • @stats1330
    @stats1330 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is a band-aid solution to a massive issue. We need more housing full stop. We need to remove excessive zoning laws that only allow for single family housing. We need the state to make housing co-ops a much better option vs just giving money to developers. Most importantly we need to get rid of mandatory parking minimums. Then upscale parking lots they are a waste of space and extreamly unproductive land. The State owns a lot of parking lots in Albany and also faces a housing crisis there. Why are they not upscaling the land they already own?

  • @stats1330
    @stats1330 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Thank you for the interview about transportation. Anymore interviews about transportation would be amazing. It also might be worth to talk about how to build stronger towns have local communities not be car dependent. Also in none of the proposals for any of the highway removal projects talk about rail replacement. This is the time to think big. Look towards other countries and how they build transportation and take from them. One thing to note is that USA car deaths and injuries are wildly higher than the rest of the developed world. NY is uniquely positioned in having less registered cars per captia than the transportation utopia that is the Netherlands but we have far higher rates of issues with car injuries and deaths. Clearly there is a massive problem that needs to be solved. I do not believe the State is working fast enough to address this issue. Why are we not updating to new standards that are proven to be better than ours vs fighting single battles for seemly every street.
