still one of the greatest and most unique electronic/sample based albums of all time, this music has such a good spirited melodic and yet free atmosphere, like taking a magnifying glass to just the flourishes in a performance and finding a whole symphony within those details.

I like to imagine they wrote “Wingwalker” & that bass-line was so fucking good they used it to write “Crow” immediately afterwards.

I remember buying "Atomizer" used in my local indie vinyl store in 87-ish. Loved the cover and insert. Looked over at the hip store dude, he gave the thumbs up. Bought it. Fan since.

He goes, right before the new album comes out. Only got to see these guys 13 times. Since 1998, in SF. With that Sunday morning show, at Great American Music Hall. Still have the flyer. God speed Wing Walker. I love this man. Rest in Peace.🤘

Possibly the best Shellac release in terms of the sheer quality of the tracks on it, even though there are only two.

This album actually came out all the way back in 1988 and was created on a single Ensoniq Mirage keyboard. It's pretty much way ahead of its time in that regard.

One of NY's more more interesting bands who did some amazing stuff during the late 90s. It's too bad they didn't have more material, but their approach and music weirdness is absolutely wonderful. I'm a freak when it comes to out-there rock'n roll and this is exactly what this band is. Nothing quite like them....well...maybe except for my band which does sound a bit like Dymaxion. Great golden guts!

At 11:19, the music that played when I finished David Gordon Green's Halloween trilogy. It was sad to see such a great artist let himself go.
