We all know what happened to the girl in Tokai forest. We all know that if she'd been running with a personal protection K9, she'd probably still be alive. We (Bite Club) are a group of likeminded individuals who share a passion of working protection K9s. This video is to promote Bite Club and convince people to protection train their dogs, or invest in a family protection K9 - simply because "...

Pit bull seemed more like It was playing rather than fighting like the other two. New to training maybe?
Raised dogs my whole life, border collie is the only breed I would want for “anything” looking back
i love you girl
in a real situation they would all fail, because they are only going after the sleeve. They will not bite in a situation where they are needed for protection
haha i can't find the first song nowhere what is the remix name
Border collies are highly underestimated due to their mild personalities. They are incredible strong athletes with super high intelligence. My BC is the nicest dog, but this one time when we were sleeping and the draft from a window made the door to my living room shake as if someone tried to enter (I thought so too), he stood like a pillar growling at the door.
How is this not Viral!$$$
I had a male smooth coat border collie who weighed just under 90 lbs. stood 24 inches at the wither. I had him trained to personal protection and, he was extremely good at his job. His name was Magnum and it suited him. You would have loved my old Magnum, @Wesley. When he was just 2 years old, we never got any mail delivered for 3 months before the postal service finally told us what was happening. He even had his moment to completely impress the local police with his calmness, focus, silence and obedience. While the police were working on trying aprehending a couple of bad guys, their police dog was going nuts in the car. My dog just laid quietly at my feet with complete focus on the bad guys just waiting for his command. After it was all over, the k9 officer who kept a good watch over me, came over and told me how impressive my dog was. I was very proud of Magnum that day. Sadly he passed at the age of 14 years old of natural causes and at my side. But I still have his son and daughter both here with me now.
I'd love to see more on the bc
Border Collies may not have the powerful bite compared to a shepherd or a Mal or a Pit but a bite is a bite, love seeing a BC doing protection work! Would love to see more videos of him. :)
They have as powerful a bite as both Malinois and Pitbulls. About 220 PSI. More than a Malinois.
U can train a border collie for anything that attack video that’s nothing to that border collie an that guys post saying bc lack confidence how many have u owned??? Cause the most social dog out there is bc
Are you gonna actually catch a dog or just tell other people to do it?
Border collies vin
Good like border collei
I love border colli
Actually, border collies are extremely protective..... I've seen larger dogs even massive bully breeds cower to border collies just because of the collie stare. These dogs are capable of anything because of their strong desire to please. They are the smartest dog breed. So many people underestimate this breed.
I know this is an old comment but, yeah, I couldn't agree more. When my border collie was 2 we took him to a dog park, and a massive pit bull (or dog similar to a pit bull) wanted to play-fight with my dog while he was playing ball. He didn't want to play, and a quick growl and snap of his teeth had that dog cower in a heartbeat, despite being possibly double my dog's size.
@@brain.eating.amoeba Yup. Mine is just like that! She only focuses on the ball at the park and will go up to a Dog once in a blue moon. She has even scared away giant German Shepherds with her Snaps. She Isn't aggressive she just likes her space.
I agree! I'm looking to get a BC in a few years
I have a border collie and he’s the guard dog for my house. Trust me. MY DOG PROTECTS EVERYTHING…
Having issues training him to bark "warning" before the initial bite. He just doesn't usually bark much at all unless he's excited of a toy
Yeah and someone told me my border collie can't do bite work because "They're not meant for it.".......6 months old and he already can bite on command and let go when I say to. Working on having him run across and jump and bite the "arm glove"
Nice I just got me an xr 650r and now I’m trying to learn to do sum wheelies
I got bite by a border collie (with no gear and I'm 11) and it was not fun at all
What's your professional opinion on dalmatians for personal protection training? I'm not a huge fan of the typical breeds for it and was considering a dalmatian if they would work. Otherwise what about rough collies or belgian tervurens?
I don't understand how this training works. Why doesn't the dog attack any of the people there, and only the person with the arm guard gets bitten? Isn't it stressful or dangerous to reinforce this kind of aggression, even if the goal is to control it? I just don't buy it
Dusk Legend These dogs are trained to protect their people. Dogs can sense if something is wrong or if someone is bad.
I know this was 3 years ago but the dogs are highly trained to protect. Not just attack. They have cues. The dogs attack on cue or if they feel that their owner is in danger. They also have off cues that needs to be taught in puppy stage. It's all about training
The dogs are trained to protect and attack, they have cues.
DAMNNN SON nice vid! great wheelies and a legendary bike :D Braaaap on
For the record, this is one of our first videos. All of the dogs and decoys in this video have progressed a lot since then! See facebook.com/k9biteclub for more recent videos of our progress!
that shepherd is all business. has a ton of potential. the pit isn't bad either. the bc however impressed me very much I would have to see a totally diff decoy and some real pressure on the bc in a strange new place before I would be convinced on the bc though. other that nice show
I hear you, Donte. All the dogs and decoys in this vid have progressed a lot since then. Please see facebook.com/k9biteclub for more recent videos, as this is actually one of our first videos. The BC is now on his 4th decoy, inside arm, on the suit - water, clatter sticks, whips, bottle curtains, you name it. Same for the Pit, and the Shepherd is just a natural. The Shepherd is now doing Outs from distance, Bark & Hold, Heeling away into Obedience routine, etc.
That German Shepherd looks scary as fuck lol
He's a total badass! l
Z1R _ DeL1 You sound like a ten year old who just discovered the internet. Take a hike, kiddo.
Wow I've never seen a bc doing protection work, do you have any more videos of him just working its very interesting
Hey Leah. Plenty more videos of him on our Facebook page [facebook.com/k9biteclub/] and - feel free to give us a follow to see more of him :)
Isthisallthereis i have a border collie and a dobermann , one time they fought , the border almost killed the dobermann
TheChevag Yeah, if it ever came down to it, I'd trust my Border Collie for protection over my Rottweiler any day. She can take him down in nothing flat. It really surprised me how "vicious" they can be, since they don't generally have that reputation. Their speed is a big part of it. Other dogs just can't keep up with them.
Kelsie LeCrone Same Their speed and energy level can almost top any dog at all i have one but he never stops playing he wont let me even pet him because he only wants to play:/
My border collie weighs 28 kilo grams he is giant
Would you recommend using border collies or are other breeds better
If you are well acquainted with the breed and understand their needs, they can make incredible, versatile companions/family dogs. But, companion dogs is all they are. Highly workable, fantastic drive, highly trainable, but for protection sports like this, if you want a perfect PSA dog - a border collie will not cut it. They are too edgy. Malinois or GSD for example would have a lot more natural confidence, where the BC may lack. With Turbo (BC in this video) I seem to have struck it lucky, because his courage and confidence is on a level unlike any other BC I've seen before.
Wesley Powell thanks for responding ... I'm doing my research on what breeds are good I'm planning on getting a dog for the family but it's been difficult finding malinois around New Jersey so I was curious what other breeds were recommended any experience with Rottweilers? And any opinions on them
Pit bulls make fantastic family pets although they can have natural aggression towards dogs. Rottweilers are great as well. I had a GSD growing up, I used to pull his ears and tail and hair and ride his back. He was a great family dog/protection dog. Border collies need a lot of space and attention - my BC comes with me everywhere I go, so he gets a lot of exercise and stimulation. They need this, otherwise they can be problematic, neurotic and snappy - esp towards kids. So it's up to your lifestyle and the amount of attention you're prepared to invest in the dog.
Personally I think border collies are the best breed you could ever have but I'm totally biased since my first dog was perfect and a border collie :P I don't recommend malinois - I have a mal X and she's a bag of nerves and highly reactive and sensitive (to be fair she didn't have the best start in life, it could have been much different if she'd been properly socialized, however at least part of it is genetic). Oh and Border Collies are NOT just companions, lol, they are working dogs - if you have a farm and want the sheep (or most other livestock) moved they'll do it better than any other breed. If you want a search and rescue dog they're one of the best (along with labs) and if you want a seizure alert dog, assistance dog or hearing dog they're better than most other breeds. They aren't best for protection work because of their size and biting style mainly but they don't lack courage or confidence - it takes a dog with courage to face up to an angry, stubborn 500kg cow (with horns) and turn it around - and then to get kicked or tossed in the air and get back up and do it again until the stock has been moved and the job is done. Sheepdogs are tough dogs!
Luculencia I love that perfect AND haha
watched this like 5 times over amazing vid @wesley Powell
Nice video!! How would you compare the XR650R & KTM690smc in terms of power, ride, and reliability? I have an xr650r and was thinking of getting something like a KTM (with a starter).
