    I'm sorry to put a dark cloud over your podcast, but can't hold it back..!! I don't recognize her anymore. She change her hole look. The doctor should be sued...!!! On some of her pictures it looks like she has a light bulb in her mouth. She had a unique smile all her own. It was actually really cute. How she just looks like everyone else.I know she's only 18 and is going mess around with fashion and stuff but not the teeth...!!!! Yes i'm a fan, i've bin to all the concerts in the U S. Though I agree that plastic surgery isn't a good idea in most cases, unless it's necessary for serious disfiguration of course, Freddy Mercury was never a girl. It might be that she felt pressured (if she did anything at all) or it might be that her teeth just grew in the meantime and changed her look...

    Thank you Aleks, Alan and Pontus. A great episode! I have my own interpretation of the song “Shield”: she sings about her family, and above all about her mother Sara. Sara has decided a lot of things about Angelina’s life. She has arranged everything so Angelina can sing, finish her education, and also keeps her safe and hidden from toxic influences. Angelina is grateful, but knows that she has heavily tilted her family’s life around her, with many consequences, because of who she is, because of her talent. That’s why she sings: “Forgive me for all that I am”. She knows she has this big impact, especially on Sara and Juliette who had to rearrange their life around hers. Of course different explanations are possible too. I’d be happy to read yours.

    Well, I'm about a year late listening to this but I'm so glad I've finally found it. "James, that was a remarkable piece of work you put together with Alan and Pontus. Although I have seen all those clips before, the way they were put together with a stirring narrative literally brought tears to my eyes." Alan and Pontus, this Documentary has to be shown over and over again so that people who are discovering Angelina for the first time can reference this 20:14 and get a good feel about how all of this started. I would entitle the Documentary as follows: HAVE YOU JUST DISCOVERED ANGELINA? HERE IS THE BEGINNING OF HER STORY. Our hope is she never loses direction driving on the superhighway of life and is careful of what Exits to get off on. Will I always stay with her? Always.

    What a treat this was, you are so perceptive it is uncanny how much you can see in just a few phrases. So, Metalica, Ennio Morricone and "The Ecstasy of gold", would love to know your opinion. And again, Metalica... could we see some Arch Enemy on your channel? Alissa White Gluz I personally think is the best front person for any death metal band (sorry Floor I love you and your style) her growls are amazing and you can actually understand her words. Sorry I regress, I am one of the Angels who have watched the industry destroy so much talent and like Lara, the sound of her voice can often bring a lump to your throat and moist eyes. Performers like these are so few, when their personality and humility can so readily be sensed, you cannot help but be protective of them like the true treasure they are. The painting and its message is incredible! Now I am really looking forward to more AJ reactions from you.🌺

    Well, "How about that!" 52:26 of pure entertainment which kept me captivated till the very end. I know when I first listened to Aleks on her channel I immediately was stunned by her frankness. It was like I had to do a double take on what I was listening to. A compliment for sure and her spontaneous and thoughtful remarks were a breath of fresh air. "Aleks, if I may, when Alan and Pontus discovered you they must have said, 'We have to do a podcast with her if she is willing'! I'm so glad you accepted their invitation. You spoke about how Angelina knows exactly who she is and what she wants to do. She creates music and interprets music with the love in the song always being her main focus. Your observation about what you felt when you listened to Angelina sing HER FIRST NOTE OF 'I Put A Spell On You' gave me a feel of how genuine you are. Alan thought you were kidding when you suggested to him you would prefer not to listen to another song because it would be too much for you. Then, he caught on. He, like all of us, understood what you meant. You fully absorb something and to fully appreciate what it was you need a little time to reflect. Aleks, you are very special!"

    I never had doubts about that line: forgive me for all that I am. Angelina understands the burden that her career is placing on her family, and asks their forgiveness because their life revolves around her career needs. I don’t think it’s all about one person. Angelina needs and wants that support, but understands the effect it has on her loved ones around her. She also sings “surround me with angels” which is a direct reference to her fans and their support. “Forgive me for all that I am” is a great example of the introspection that Angelina shows us in many of the songs she’s written. She has the ability to look at herself from a distance-and she does that often: Good in Goodbyes, Seventh Heaven, Diamond, What is Life, and many others.

    • @AleksReacts
      @AleksReacts 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Seems that is the overwhelming take on the song, so it's probably the correct one. I am not sure if that frame survived the cut, but I might also be projecting and my personal experience might have affected my views on the song. One thing we certainly agree on - a 12 yo writing an amazing song like this one and singing it the way Angelina does is stunning. 😉

However, I will chance it with my fingers firmly crossed.. In "I put a Spell on You".. when Angelina enters the booth to begin..she glances heavenwards. It was the first thing that impacted me.. it felt respectful and almost as if she was inviting/having some interaction with Jay Hawkins. There is one other time I noticed her doing this.. she was in the studio to record Billie Hollidays version of "I'm a Fool to Want You". She is wearing a flower crown and she touches it and looks heavenwards and again I got chills feeling she was communing with Billie in that moment. Thankyou if you read and or comment to me. It seems highly likely that it is, indeed, her family to whom she refers as her shield, since they have literally shielded her from the more sordid and vicious aspects of the entertainment business, ever since she was a little child when some of the industry "sharks" started pursuing her. They have ensured that she had as normal and as protected a childhood as possible. She referred to this in the "10 Years in The Making" documentary when, speaking about her family, she said, "I want them to always be my shield". The "Forgive me for all that I am" statement is a bit more uncertain, although it has been suggested, reasonably in my opinion, that she was perhaps referring to the unwavering effort they made indulging and supporting her in realizing her greatest dreams from her earliest childhood, dreams far bigger than those of the average child of her age.

Each person brings something of themselves into the discussion and it makes for a lovely harmony of some really great people. Thank you once again for all 3 of us! ❤❤❤

    Why didn’t you show her the video of Shield? This one hardly even sounded like her voice. Next time she comes, please have her react to I’m Holding Out for You. I was disappointed she didn’t choose it. Also, she was not eleven when singing that version of Summertime. I personally think she was barely nine. She was still working her mouth in odd shapes, and her voice cracked at the end. You can also see how little she is as she walked off at the end of the song. I also think it was her idea to slow the tempo down so far, and it worked wonderfully well with the orchestra. This was a fun session-thanks, Guys!

      Oh, Alan and Pontus tried, but I couldn't pick up the words because we had some lag when recording this. It's my fault this version pretty much "needed" to be chosen. I hope you'll forgive that, as I really wanted to follow the words while hearing the song for the first time. 😊

    • @AleksReacts
      @AleksReacts 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I wasn't really choosing (except at the end when given two choices and I claimed Shield). Alan and Pontus actually surprised me by having me react to any songs. I thought we'd be talking and nothing else. Thank you for the corrections and some additional information. I'm glad that overall this was fun for you - if I was in on the plans, it would probably be a bit more stuck up. This way, we could all kind of relax and enjoy the fun.

    My interpretation of "Forgive me for all that I am" is that her family rearranged their lives around hers. After she won NGT her mother was asked "what's next" and she said that now that this is over, she will return to a normal life. That didn't happen because Angelina was on her own undeniable trajectory, that everyone else felt compelled to indulge. And of course, shield and protect her on her journey.

    • @AleksReacts
      @AleksReacts 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Many interpret it the same way you just did, so probably a very valid view. I tend to dive in without prior knowledge and research about an artists life, so I often interpret only what I hear in the song itself. That also means that I'll come up with an interpretation that may not be true or exact, but it does allow for freedom at first listen.

      @AleksReacts PS : My spiritual 💫 opinion Aleks about Angelina my Queen 👩😲🎙ofJazz 🎺 and God 💥 Angel 😇 since the last 2 Years 🤔 ! There is one thing you need to understand and learn, and many reactors and some Angelina angels 😇 need to understand over time, that Angelina 💯% is an incarnated magical 💫 mystical 😌 soul ✨️💫✨️ who can speak 😮! sing 😲! suffer 😩! feel 😌! cry 🥲! laugh 😀! love ❤! hope 🙏! believe! see ! hear ! experience everything 💯% from the past! And that only Angelina's body is the normal childlike part of her! Even Angelina's mind 🤔 was "NEVER" childlike, not at the age of 3, 6, 8 or 10, but the mature, experienced mind of a soul ✨️ who has been alive for over 💯 years! That's why Angelina 🤔 understands and feels 😌 every song she sings 😲 💯% and even makes, and I quote: "changes and adjustments to the lyrics"! Angelina rewrote "Back to Black" when she was 10 years old, after a trip to the theme park beforehand, within an hour on the bus ride to the studio in Oslo 📝! (not possible for a normal 10 year old soul child ✨️! "Zero chance" It is the only really realistic human explanation why Angelina understands 🤔 and feels ❤️‍🔥 all this! and when she sings 😲 with her old orphan magical 💫 experienced soul ✨️, she can captivate 🔗🔗 all our souls ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ and put a spell over us 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️!! That is why Angelina will become a legend, because that makes her "superhuman" ! and that is why her whole life will be here with us Remain "untouchable"! Until Angelina leaves us again 🥲 ! and that will happen at some point, when Angelina has fulfilled her mission ! destiny ! her life's work here with us 😇🙏👍! For this reason, this over 💯 year old superhumanly capable soul ✨️💫✨️ was incarnated in Angelina's body, either in the womb or after birth! that is God's 💥 work! Angelina is God's 1st angel 😇, His beloved ❤️‍🔥 earth angel 🙏 😇 sent to save this world 🌍 ! I have spiritually 💫 spent a lot of time with Angelina from a human 👩 and musical 😲 🎶 perspective, in order to understand these many inexplicable things ! facts ! and events ! to explain, to research everything about and around Angelina and to make it explainable! And that remains "ultimately" the only explainable statement 🤷‍♂️ ! This is my professional! musical 🎶 😲 and spiritual 💫 opinion and experience over 58 years!! Angelina is bringing our souls✨️ of all Angelina Angels 😇😇😇 and fans! together to form an ever growing Angelina Angels 😇😇😇 souls ✨️✨️✨️ family 👪 ! THIS IS HER TRUE WORK! ANGELINA WILL SHAPE THE WORLD 🌍 WITH HER ALL-ENCOMING, LOVING HEART ❤️💖❤️‍🔥! HER MAGICAL SOUL ✨️💫✨️ AND VOICE 😲 AND HER SPIRITUAL 💫 CONNECTION TO ALL OF HER ANGELS 😇😇😇 SOULS ✨️✨️✨️ OUT THERE! WHO CONTINUE TO GROW AND SHAPE DAY BY DAY UNTIL THEIR GOAL IS ACHIEVED! “ANGELINA IS NOT “JUST A DIVINE 👸 SINGER 😮 ANGELINA IS MUCH MORE” 😊 ! BYE Aleks 👋 Take care 🥰 🇨🇭🙋‍♂️😊 !

      Aleks I tend to side with you. One thing always unspoken by the family --except for her younger sister Juliette one time-it seems is the fact that her father has divorced and no longer a part of the family life. But when we first saw her in Norway’s Got Talent he was there- briefly. Maybe “forgive me for all that I am” is her plea. This is a lot of pressure on a young girl who has clearly turned the entire family into a “shield” of protection as her career trajectory has expanded.

      @@davidgrainger7717 Another detail about AJ I did not know, but truth be told I thought "gone" was closer to "passed away". Your take is also a very interesting one and quite a possible scenario for a 12 yo. This is precisely what I love about music - interpretations can vary, whether we have detailed insight in the life of an artist or not. It seems you and I hear this one slightly differently to most, and it doesn't even matter who's right. It's how each of us feels it.
