I like the old line shaft driven machines. I run Haw Rivers and KNs at my mill. These are very interesting machines. Do you still run these in production?

My dad was a development engineer at Bentley's and did a lot of work on the Komets. He transmitted all over the world helping companies to set them up.

I was apprentice trained there. Cant see electronic patterning machines... likely not lasting as long as the old mech types. They made the Rolls Royce of double cylinder knitting machines (hence they last). The Asian b'stards copied them and the government would not stop imports of cheap socks that cost less than UK yarn. I worked as a knitter on Bentley Komets in the 70's and 80's in LEICESTER, the home of Bentley Engineering.
