I'm usually a person who thinks franchises that retain old and plain uniforms go overboard with the nostalgia angle. Basically keeping them just so they say they did. I mean Penn State is the epitome this. I get wanting to keep a classy and traditional look but Penn State looks like we could be watching some prison league team or like they went through and designed uniforms but forgot to save their work and accidentally sent in the default blank slate before any work had been done. Notre Dame and Nebraska are other examples although using gold does help Notre Dame. It's not just college ball. Seriously is there any person out there who doesn't live in Indiana that actually likes the Colts unis? That said then there is Alabama and I don't know what it is about theirs but they just look right. Maybe it's the numbers on the helmet that put's them up where they are. I think that used to be more common but they are the only ones who do it so it's very unique and thus not plain and boring like the others. That said I don't think if they replaced those with just that famous "A" it would change my opinion.

0:41 This is the part of Tua's game that doesn't really exist anymore and i really hate that it doesn't. After the hip injury he pretty much had to nearly eliminate this very special skillset and it really takes away a huge part of his game which is sad, but understandable. The injury that Tua suffered is the same injury that ended Bo Jackson's football career just to put things in context. It's truly amazing as to how Tua is still able to play and the fact that he is playing at a very high level is just flat out remarkable! I really hate how people say Tua is good but when the play breaks down he can't make anything happen or that he can't be a creator or make something out of nothing. What they don't realize is that used to be part of Tua's game and it was a huge part of his game. He made something out of nothing up there with the best of them, like as good as Deshaun Watson when he was playing out of his mind at Houston. So yeah a lot of people just simply have forgotten, they don't know, or they just don't equate the hip injury among all of his other injuries with his lack of creativity when the play breaks down. That's why I'm so thankful for these amazing highlights. They really showcase the Tua before the terrible hip injury and the other pile of injuries he's had to endure over the years.

As an OSU fan I do NOT know why they didn't keep him in against us. He was dominating in the run and the screen and saban took him out and put whoever else was back there 😂 saban would've had another natty we couldn't stop him idk why he took him out. But thanks
