Sounded like you thought stiff fingers were good for a guitarist. But stiff fingers = arthritis (sometimes )and when you're playing as fast as Tina you need looseness and flexibility (not to mention oodles of talent). Did I misunderstand?

I honestly don’t think they could believe a group as famous as PTX would come on the show. Nick Canon was like, “why are you here?” Robin Thicke knew it right away. They had a great time just doing something different. I don’t watch this show but it’s so obvious.

There were two judges that guessed correctly after the first or second song and stayed with that to the end. One other did mention them as a possibility, but guessed someone else.

I love all their songs.

The original was from the 1950's prison escape movie "Unchained" and the song was popularized by the Righteous Bros. As someone pointed out, with such a simple backing, there's nowhere to hide vocally. Both Home Free's & Austin's version are terrific. There's a live video of him singing this at "Tim's 6th Birthday Bash" that's jaw-dropping.

The keyboard player is Sebastien Douyon. This was filmed by the pond in front of Austin's house. Austin, Tim & Chance are each song writers and have originals both with Home Free and on their channel(s). The originals on Austin's channel are "Real Talk", "off the Grid", "Take the Night Off" & "I'll Go First" among others. Keep tissues handy for the last one.

I always loved the late Percy Sledge's original (not so much Michael Bolton's cover - I thought it rather over-wrought). This was done during the Covid lockdowns. Austin's (now wife) Amberly was next to the cameraman & that's who he's looking at. Whomsoever joins in Austin's place is gonna have a tough act to follow!

You can see Matt, the base singer in action in O Holy Night. Pentatonic is in uncharted waters this year. I googled and read that RCA , their record company partially dropped them last year n will not support non Christmas songs and originals. PtX waited till the end of the year and even hired a management company to get a new label but sadly, none came forward. So, starting 2024, they have started their own label to manage themselves, especially their original songs. It will be more taxing but in the end, more successful. Please give them all your support and can't wait what they will do next. Kirstin is getting married this month, April. Maybe more info will come out after that.
