Original Gregorian Chant The Powerful Prayer of St. Michael the Archangel
Exactly 33 years to the day prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, that is, on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a remarkable vision. When the aged Pontiff had finished celebrating Mass in his private Vatican Chapel, attended by a few Cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar. He stood there for about 10 minutes, as if in a trance, his face ashen white. Then, going immediately from the Chapel to his office, he composed the above prayer to St. Michael, with instructions that it be said after all Low Masses everywhere. This Powerful Prayer is an exorcism against Satan and his fallen angels, and offered here in response to Our Holy Father's request for the recitation of the Prayer of St. Michael. The Original Gregorian Chant Music and the recording is Copyright and performed by The Traditional Benedictine Monks of Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery, Silver City, New Mexico.

Why do you hate me? I cannot comprehend the hatred you have for me. You support the man, Marcel, who hated the liturgy that grew up with and love. I have no doubt you share his hatred. I have no doubt that you have no respect or reverence for many Saints of the Catholic Church; St. Pope John XIII, St. Pope John Paul II, St. Faustina, and countless others. I have no doubt you reject the beautiful traditions of the Church, the Luminous Mysteries, the Divine Mercy chaplet, because they are newer traditions. Why do you hate me? I tear myself apart, unable to comprehend the hatred you have for me. You will say you do not hate me; I say that you hate the Mass I love, the Saints I love, the traditions I love... and I will say that, if you do not hate me, I would prefer that you hated me over hating that which I love. I have found Christ through the Novus Ordo. I have found Christ through Saints like St. Faustina. I have found Christ through the Luminous Mysteries and Divine Mercy Chaplet. Why do you hate me? I tear myself apart because I can not comprehend why those who call themselves Catholics would so hate their fellow Catholics as you hate me and my practices. Why? Can you answer me? I tear myself apart mentally, not being able to comprehend you and your hatred of me.

There was a proclamation of excommunication without due process. The “ excommunication “ was lifted by the Pope decades ago.
But they are doing Gods work so even if they were why would that matter ?

I have been there several times from a few days to a few weeks. I was allowed to work on the Monastery and the Convent on several projects. One day I was in the kitchen, as I looked around, I said to myself, oh my God I am washing dishes with Saints!
This was inspiring. I hope the Monastery flourishes.

It would be wonderful if they were members of Mother Church and not a cultist sect against.
7 times a day! And many Catholics complain about going to Mass 1 day out of the week... some 1 Mass a year! :( I'd love to visit one of these daily if they allowed it. Under 2 years now a Catholic and I love the Holy Mass. I'm impressed that everything is done by the monks themselves. Quality work from decades gone by. The monastery layout I like. And I was not aware that there were Benedictine Nuns! Wow. Quite a community going here. May God be with all your spirits, and praise be to our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I spent 9 months in this monastery sept 1995- july 1996. The best thing that happened to me. It sure has grown. Beautiful to see.
Why did you leave and do you regret doing so?
@josephr.gainey2079 i left under the guidance of the Abbott. Following a retreat he said it was God's will that i didn't have a calling to be a religious. But it turned out to be the best marriage preparation that i could have asked for. It was awesome. Not a day goes by that i don't think about the monastery or something that i learned while i was there. So many young men should go and check it out.

@rx0102 i was there for 9 months so i guess thats quite some time. But a priest is a mediator between man and God and when you put your life in God's hand he guides those in charge with making the right decision.

I can remember when we were told not to associate with this order by our diocese when they first started here. I have been there. It is beautiful and peaceful. God's Blessing on these monks.

Please put a warning on here that you include clips from The Passion of the Christ. Great movie, but not appropriate for kids. I was playing this for my 3 year old as we worked on a project for Michaelmas, then found myself scrambling for the remote. That movie is rated R for a reason.
That is a lesson to you that you must preview EVERYTHING you show your child!! Never assume anything! Some PG Movies are worse than the Passion! The Disney Videos shown to almost all children today, are far more violent! They had to give the Passion an R rating only because Hollywood HATES THE TRUTH about Jesus Christ's Sufferings, and they did not want ANYONE to see it! Meanwhile they continue to increase all the violence and also pro LGBTQ junk included in these so-called Children's Videos. We all need to see the reality what Sin did to Our Lord and Savior! A Child before the age of reason, of course, should not be watching something so graphic. But he should probably not be watching videos at all, that tend to harm developing Children. But a child who can commit Mortal Sin, should, since he does far worse to Our Lord by sin than this movie could ever depict! May God bless you and your Family!
Actually Hollywood didn't give the movie The Passion of the Christ a rating. The movie wasn't connected with Hollywood. Mel Gibson insisted on an R rating for the intense, graphic violence portrayed. In general, for most, it takes some maturity to make the correlation between the violence of Christ's passion and the effects of sin. A child watching the Passion could easily be overcome with the violence and forget the love of God. Fear can help but in general, especially young children learn to be good, and want heaven because of love. Love is stronger than fear.
