Stephen Michael RESTAINO is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and recording engineer from Long Island, New York. He has been a professional musician for 30 years and has played on stages in front of 3 to 3,000 people over the years. In the corners of the worst dive bars, and on large auditorium stages, he's a pro.
Steve plays; Guitar, Bass, Piano/Keys, Harmonica, Drums, Lap-steel, Uke & Mandolin.
As of 2021 Steve plays in an acoustic duo (Hot Mess) with his wife, Carolina, guitar with "The Moonlighters", & "Jazz Cabbage". He is also the go-to soundman, guitar, and fill-in bass player for The James Montgomery Band. The two bluesmen also have an acoustic duo "THE HAT AND THE HARP". Steve travels all over NE, and NY to perform.

The 2 girls you can't remember are me (Suzanne Ross) in the middle kicking off the song. You played with me many times on other occasions; Fallen Angel gigs & too many jams to list including some you hosted, & Joie who was Darren's girlfriend who you also worked with at other venues. I don't know her last name. Not bad for our first gig. Great concept, video sound quality sucked.

Some of the most fun i've had on gigs were with Steve "the hat" & Matt C. in a band called Three Legged Dog here on Long Island. Great musicians & people as well playing the music of Zappa, Crimson, & more . Real "thinking peoples"music !....boy, do I miss those days !!
