Well done 👍
Interesting video dude. Will put some of these tips into practice in my videos.
Thanks! 🙂
That was very informative, thanks a lot for the video. Just a small doubt, suppose I have more than 1 similar videos, and I have done the color grading for one, is there any way to replicate that to other videos without doing the manual work again for all the videos individually?
Thanks
Thanks for the video and revealing your settings. Unfortunately, CapCut and Davinci's Resolve cannot handle D-Log-M or the h265 codec. Unless there is something you are doing that I am not. I'm sick and tired with not being to edit videos recorded in D-Log-M. Is there a way it can be done without spending a ton of money?
thank you very much
You are welcome
Thank you bro!
Happy to help
Weirdly I dont see motion blur in the fusion search, Ah I think you have studio.
Great settings. I just had to tweak a little bit here and there, but was better and more informative that other videos I have seen. Brilliant and loved it. 👍👍😁😁🙌🙌😁😁🙌🙌👍👍
Glad it helped! THX :)
Great video bud ! But one thing i didn't get. Why didn't you apply color transform option and you applied a LUT basicly ?
Thank You :) and the reason why I apply LUT, because there are no correct settings in colour transfrom in Davinci Resolve for DJI D-Log M and DJI supply correct settings in LUT that's why I use LUT for most correct settings.
@@BuryDroneWorld Thanks a lot. I asked bcs i ordered a Mini 4 Pro today and i gonna make color..
Muito bom o vídeo. Obrigado! Kevin de Drone direto do Brasil.
I'm glad it was helpful!
Very good descriptions and examples. Thank you
I'm glad it was helpful!
Is this DR studio or free version?
it is Studio version but all this you can do in free version and now is beta version Davinci Resolve 19 what is much better now with free version
@@BuryDroneWorld Didn't think you could edit 10bit D-Log M video in the free version?
Yes, and your right free version is not supporting 10-bits , but a 10-bit videos from DJI drones are somehow working in a free version, I try 10-bits from my Sony camera and they not working on free version but from DJI drones are working included Pocket 3.
Hello, can you use the ability to export DJI Mini 4 Pro D Log-M to HDR in DaVinci Resolve? If you use DJI Mini 4 Pro D Log-M to shoot, the color restoration becomes the Rec.709 color gamut, which means that when grading in DaVinci Resolve, it is impossible to create HDR video? Because the color gamut required by HDR is Rec.2020

Useful information. I realize English probably is not your mother tongue, but a script would help. This contennt would make an excellent 22 minute video.
Hi . Thanks, and yes, english is not my mother language, but I trying my best :)
I use spotlight all the time ..
Same as me, the spotlight is a really good tool.
Very well done walk-through. As a beginner, just what I needed for a taste of what DaVinci Resolve and my drone footage can offer, and got a lot of tips about the controls. Felt like I was wandering in the wilderness before. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Can you make more videos???
Hi, I will definitely make more videos. Thanks for interest :)
Thank you very much for this. SO helpful
Glad it was helpful!
What do you set your master color management settings to?
I keep them as default settings.
like just see Acropolis!
:)
Great video :-)
Thanks!
Is that legal flying so high in an urban area in Greece and Europe in general?
To answer your question, is it legal "I don't know" Don't quote me because I'm just a guy with a drone but my mini 4 pro can probably fly itself better than I can drive my car. I've not had any problems with mine, the wee drone just wants to fly and so do l so we get on great 👍
in Europ legal limit is 120m max altitude, so answer is yes but if is legal to flight in urban area this depends on many condition.
Great video.Thank you very much.
Thanks :)
Wow!! Amazing tutorial! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I don't understand how to even move my dji files over to Davinchi any info would be appreciated.
Hi, I made Video "How to start Drone Video Editing in Davinci Resolve Beginners Guide Tutorial" - th-cam.com/video/K1F4c7NBE18/w-d-xo.htmlsi=C0bgZMdIirYSGLUA
Thanks for the Video!! question, what do you use for the older DJI Mini 2? I have some older footage I cant seem to color grade. please help :)
Hi, Just skip part with LUT and you can use same process as in tutorial but with small correction all depends how was recorder video and what exactly you want to correct in video.
Fantastic drone video please 🙏 add me
Thanks :)
Did you use any noise reduction software??
Hi, some Videos have small noise reduction but not all and I use Davinci Resolve for Noise Reduction - th-cam.com/video/GkChUN1kvwY/w-d-xo.html
Can the Mini 4pro go up more than 120 meters?
Yes, if you change the settings. There is a simple slide feature to adjust height limits. Don't forget to get approval before flying beyond the predetermined limits.
Yes in UK and US, NOT in EU Country's.
500 metres in the uk but I would like to go higher but do not know how to ?
Thanks
Welcome
Fantastic video and drone mate! Some amazing shots in night mode, looks great! New sub here, well done 👍
Thanks for the sub!
Great explanation, your content is definitively helping me. It's ok to touch the gimbal to apply the ND filters when the drone is ON?
Hi, I always change and check ND filters when drone is ON and never had any problem with gimbal. Just hold gimbal when changing filters to don't overload gimbal motors.
I tried this settings on a dji mini 4 pro and when setting shutter on 2 x FPS (1/200) the overexposer zebra helper covers up my entire screen. I only get rid of overexposer when increasing the shutter by far, like 1/2000 more or less. It's a partialy sunny day, setted the ISO to 100, WB at 5500k in D-Log M mode and resolution at 4k 60 FPS. Any idea why? Great video btw, applied almost the same cinamtic settings and feels great!
Hi, when you using manual settings for shutter speed and you keep shutter speed 2xFPS you will have to use ND Filters to reduce amount of light in to camera instead increasing shutter speed. Check my video How and Why to use ND Filters. What FPS your using for shutter speed 1/200 ?
Just saw the video about the ND filters, now everything makes sense thank you! I wrote 1/200 by mistake, I meant 1/120, trying 60 FPS.
That's good, I hope video helps. Any question just ask :)
Thank u for showing this video
Thanks!
Great video!
Thanks!
I need some help with this tutorial. I shot in d-log m, applied the lut however my video on playback has the colors shifting all over like half the screen turns orange then turns green etc. I don't know how to resolve this and no one else seems to have this issue.
Hi, sorry I can't help. I never experienced anything like this. Maybe the problem is in free version because free version doesn't support 10bits video, but for some reason after one update from DJI there start working on free version. Maybe solution is to use Studio version.
A very important and powerful tutorial, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Very good explanations, extremely clear even for a not native speaker. But I have big problem with my mini pro 4 videos in D-LogM. If I load it in DaVinci Resolve there appear strong color faults, nut always, but from time to time, even without any color grading. My the reason be that I use the free version of DaVinci? Would there no be problems of color falsification with the studio version? I would be very grateful for help because I couldnot use D-Log M so far. Fritz from Germany
Hi, Thank You. I not sure about your problem I never experienced anything like this. I using Studio version and the main reason was because of 10bits video support. Free version is not supporting 10 bits and D-Log M is 10 bits, but for some reason with one of DJI updates, they start working on Davinci Resolve free version. Maybe studio version will help ?
Thank you so much for your answer. It helped me. I will buy the Studio version.
@@fritz4463 I have the same experience with color errors. I also use the free version of Davinci Resolve. Are you currently using the Studio version? And has that the problem solved?
Dji replaced the drone under warranty but it didn't change anything. There are now more and more TH-cam videos saying that only the studio version supports 10 bit color depth. I will therefore buy them in a few weeks.@@cortervoort8214
I will try to check on weekend on my second laptop with Davinci Resolve Free Version, I got some color correction to do and I will use free version and let you know if i got any of this problems.
Well done my friend! Very interesting video 👍👍👍
Thank you very much :)
Great video and Amazing❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thanks :)
Very good video - nice change from all 15 seconds tutorials that just skim through the functions.
Glad it was helpful!
Not bad video and I wish you the best with your channel. Keep your videos shorter, maybe 15-20 minutes max.
Thank You - I made this little longer because I made this for Beginners with Davinci Resolve and Color Grading, but next Tutorials I will keep shorter.
@@BuryDroneWorldI actually appreciate this in-depth beginners video. It's been a few years since I did any video editing and it was mostly learned in Premiere, so I'm starting over fresh in DaVinci and videos like this are perfect for people like me. Thanks!
how do you film for D-log? like should we be over exposing like you would in s-log?
Hi, when I filming i usually slightly overexpose to around +0.3. Same for S-Log from Sony Camera and D-Log from DJI.
Beautiful, where is this place?
Italy - Positano
Superb review of the Night Mode, Burry. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent! Thank you very much, Bury. You explained it better than most other Davinci Resolve Pros. I'm subbing. Greetings from Montreal, Canada.
Thank You :)
Nice sharing idea abouts drone😊
Thanks! 🙂
